outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

sober-living iconSober Living Homes

Sober Living Houses (SLHs), aka sober homes or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from substance abuse. Ideal for those who've just been through inpatient or outpatient treatment, SLHs are supervised environments with rules that support sobriety, such as curfews, shared chores, and therapeutic meetings. Residents are also often trained on life skills and coping skills to make it easier to transition into society. SLHs also provide a strong sense of community that can lead to the kind of deep and lasting connections with other sober individuals that supports a new, healthy lifestyle.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care

At certain points in the recovery process, it's important to have support available 24/7. 24-hour clinical care offers a safe environment in which to recover from drug or alcohol addiction in peace, knowing medical detox and other treatment will happen with professionals on hand.

aftercare iconAftercare Support

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Heart icon Treatment

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

Effective drug rehab in Washington integrates care for the whole person, offering comprehensive solutions to addiction. Treatment methods address mental, physical, and relational aspects of substance abuse.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

substance-abuse iconSubstance Abuse

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

intervention iconGroup Therapy

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

mental-health iconIndividual Therapy

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

nicotine iconNicotine Replacement Therapy

Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) is a way of getting nicotine into the bloodstream without smoking. It uses products that supply low doses of nicotine to help people stop smoking. The goal of therapy is to cut down on cravings for nicotine and ease the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal.

Nutrition Therapy

Nutrition therapy, aka medical nutrition therapy (MNT), is a way of treating physical, emotional, and medical conditions through diet. Specific dietary plans are designed by professional nutritionists or registered dietitians, and patients follow them in order to positively affect their physical and mental health.

house-medical iconTrauma Therapy

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

I think they put to much medicine in you and that is not something you should do since its a detox program. I don't like the way this place works.

My name is Aaron McClure.. I was in evergreen almost three and a half months ago... Their program allowed me to get off the fentanyl..Their methods of detox and treatment are spot on! It even allowed me to do it without methadone Suboxone or Subutex.. I just felt I was best without doing something to rob Peter and pay Paul..I've been doing well since I've got out of the program and I'm really grateful! It can be done!To all the staff at evergreen I just want to say thank you!Aaron

2/24/24 Review edit: to Jeffrey Schroeder and Brittany Boutwell -Brittany: How could you possibly know that? Even if you were in the facility detoxing with your brother, the men and women sides are completely separated. Secondly, there's no outside contact with patients while in detox for their own protection. As a prior patient, I was frustrated by this but also understood - however, this makes your review seem not at all credible.Jeffrey Schroeder - I know it's frustrating and disheartening. I've been through the process myself and had similar frustrations, but it's well worth it. They prioritize their patients. It can be incredibly shocking to get into a low rated detox center, not knowing what to expect, only to be treated unkindly.Definitely do your research. Call around and call frequently. Things change constantly.Original review 2023: This place is beyond heads and tails above any other detox center in the area. It is very difficult to get into. Within 2 minutes of their phone line being open every morning, they've always already given away all the available beds, so you have to just keep calling over and over.It took me 2 weeks of calling every day to get in. It's so worth it, though.Thank you to all the wonderful staff!

Horrible service. Been calling for 2 weeks and nothing, Then was told the planners on vacation in her line would transfer to somebody else. And it doesn't

Only problem is they keep you for 5 days when the stay should be 7. Leaving after five days is super dangerous because you are still somewhat sick and are likely to relapse. With that being said, this place is a superior detox .they take great care of you as long as you are there.

One of the women employees there is taking the patients meds. My brother was not given his meds and she told him that she had. She was sitting on his bed nodding out while we was extremely sick and crying for help.

Evergreen detox center in Lynwood, WA is by far the most comfortable and empathetic place to detox than any of the other three I ve been through and speaking on all I ve heard already from others, staff is so caring, and wonderful, never once did I feel like any issue at any point in EDC was ever bc of the staff and if so most definitely me that had things misunderstood, not ever them.Tammy, Rosemary, River, etc., with every single staff member I was met with truest compassion, fantastic bedside manners and sincerest empathy. All making for top of the notch good medicine and treatment/care, including patient education and their overall knowledge,I would never go anywhere else and hope I don t have to ever again. Evergreen is simply the best at what they do for miles around them<3They have given me hope for a possible positive tomorrow and if anything goes wrong, it s cuz I screwed it up not evergreen. Thank you so much Tammy and River, n also to the staff, for the unprecedented kindness you showed a broken woman more than once and prob more than I even deserve <3 saved my life now twice, the rest is up to me Love you all! Compassionate staff and wonderful nurses. You can get snacks and Gatorade 24 hours a day, you can probably get a private room, the beds are pretty comfortable and you can watch TV in the main room. You can also take an Epsom salt bath if you want. It's 100% worth it to go here even though you can't smoke/vape. They'll give you a patch. You can't bring your own, but if you need shaving stuff or lotion while you're there you can ask them for some. They'll try to make you as comfortable as possible

Most of the nurses are very caring. Some nurses need more training and probably shouldn t be working in the medical field. Overall this is a great place to get help. Jessica anne bollinger was very caring and compassionate to my partner when he needed help. Thank you so much!

I was surprised at how great the food was! Get there earlier than I did and you will be there for an entire 5 days. (Basically beforemidnight).LolAmazing people here. Made me feel very comfortable being in their hands. Got what I needed to do done and had a private room the entire time. Very cool. I wouldnt bring too much to check in, they will only allow a few things. The rest gets put away until you leave.
