UPDATE...STILL SOBER! 10/23/24I have attended Everett Treatment Services more than once in my drinking career. The first time I enrolled I was doing it strictly for the courts and did my best to cheat the system. Robert F was my counselor, he was direct and to the point. In short, he had my number and what I failed to see those years ago that it was genuine care. Since then (because I cheated the system and myself) I just about wrecked EVERYTHING DEAR TO ME, I decided to actually participate and put in the work. Every time I go to group, or sit in when there is a speaker I learn something, whether small or life changing, I take something from ETS that I use on almost a daily basis. Reading the reviews for this life changing facility saddens me. Please visit yourself, all the counselors have their own gripping stories about recovery to learn from. You will be greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. I know, having to attend such a facility is most likely not your choice but if you do have to this place will help you through the rough patch you're in. I am proud to have 2,102 days sober today! If you want or need something similar call Maggie the director/owner with an open mind. Take it from me, I'm most likely still alive, still have my family and am still employable because I did. Good luckJune 19th 2018

The good:Staff is friendly, allows kids, provides snacks and a kitchen with food for recovering addicts to cook meals, has an area for people to sleep before classes, somewhat flexible with pay, okay price, welcoming. The bad:Little actual coping skills provided in weekly groups, might be different in IOP. Most classes were a lot of ranting, and counselor talking about history of cooking drugs and how awesome it was, videos that did provide coping skills were outdated, seemed a lot more like scare tactics than gaining skills. Not a lot of group interaction encouraged. The worst:While my fault, I was told I was finished with UAs, partook on Memorial Day and failed a UA on my last class after being EXPLICITLY told I had sufficed my length and amount of UAs. I was in a diversion program and have now wasted the past year and thousands of dollars to be charged anyway. It felt very deceptive. With the constant talk of cooking drugs from the counselor, and basically glorifying use, I witnessed countless relapses in my time there. It seems to me ETS has a method to keep you in their system and keep you paying while claiming to be the cheapest and coolest. I will not be returning and would rather pay more to receive more effective counseling.TLDR; nice people, underwhelming and unproductive lessons, and like any business out to make money. This isn t a place to get help quitting, this is a place to go if you re broke, or already have the skills needed to quit and want to save money.

Accepted Insurance

Everett Treatment Services works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
inpatient iconInpatient Rehab
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
aftercare iconAftercare
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
It can be difficult for family and friends to carry out a successful drug intervention in Washington on their own. Intervention services can help. These services typically include education about addiction and enabling behaviors, expert facilitation for interventions, and recommendations for appropriate treatment. Often, the involvement of intervention services can create a smooth transition into rehab.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Effective drug rehab in Washington integrates care for the whole person, offering comprehensive solutions to addiction. Treatment methods address mental, physical, and relational aspects of substance abuse.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a clinical approach to helping people with substance abuse issues and other conditions shift behavior in positive ways. It is more goal-oriented than traditional psychotherapy, as MI counselors directly attempt to get clients to consider making behavioral change (rather than wait for them to come to conclusions themselves). Its primary purpose is to resolve ambivalence and help clients become able to make healthy choices freely.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

No matter what your situation is the staff (being rude btw) will always "recommend" you the same treatment, coincidentally enough it's the most expensive one!

I got a DUI and they helped me learn about my alcohol problem. They also helped me get my drivers license back. I did not have insurance so they let me make monthly payments I could afford. I am lucky to have found Everett Treatment it worked good for me.
