honestly MY experience here was amazing. it has been a few months and i don t remember the names of the staff i had but specifically two staff members that were on unit 4 for women s unit were absolutely incredible. they made my time there very life changing and helped us all through our time there. their groups were filled with so much happiness and support. there was also one man i do not remember his name but he was also an amazing person when he worked and did group with us and always filled the room with smiles and also very supportive! i know everyone s experience is different due to different units and different staff members but i will say the 6 days i was there really did help. there were also staff that weren t very friendly and some things that i did think were not helpful at all but overall i will say if i ever need to go back to a place like this i will choose peachford!

I spent almost a month at Hillside on Evans cottage. At first I had all of these thoughts that I didn t need help and even mad about being there. However, within my time there, I met some of the most amazing and understanding staff and clients. All of Evans staff, Mr. Logan, Ms. Shannon, Mr. Tyler, Ms. Gloria, Ms. Cassandra, Ms. Grace, Ms Kim, Mr. TY, Ms. Neasha, Ms. T, and Ms Irish, were very supportive and understanding. Hillside staff really care about their clients. They have many activities including Swimming, Horticulture Therapy, Recreational Therapy, Drumming, and many other thereputical activities and groups. As I stayed I realized that it wasn t so bad and I now have a more positive outlook on things. And I couldnt leave out my wonderful therapists, Mr Tanner and Ms. Certoya, they really helped me understand my problems. And Dr. Stallworth really kept things real with me and was always honest with me. Being there really helped me and I miss every single one of them.

We have been patients with TFS for 2 years. I read the other 2 reviews and felt I had to share my experience to give people balance. I would hate for someone in need (like I was) to read those 2 reviews and make a decision solely off their subjective experiences.First off, I work for the Dept. of Public Health and the complaint about meeting with the Psychiatrist over the computer should be weighed lightly. Many doctors, hospitals, clinics etc. are experimenting with telehealth to reach more people and service more clients. I actually KNOW the director over telehealth for the State so please know that this practice is not uncommon. I've actually met with the doctor via telegraph before and physically being in person didnt change our level of service. The nurses have always done the physical aspects of our visits even when the psychiatrist was present. The psychiatrist just talks and writes prescriptions.As far as the other review that addresses his foster child, we share some common experiences. Yes, we filled out a ton of intake paperwork with an office staff member and we signed electronically. HOWEVER, I simply asked the lady to turn the screen around so that I could make sure what I was signing was what she was telling me and she obliged. Scheduling CAN be a beast sometimes and they have dropped the ball on a few occasions but once we get back on track, the service is great. Before I found TFS we were going through a lot with my daughter's behavior. I could NEVER say anything bad because my daughter is behaving normally now, because of them . They meet us at our home, at the school, at the daycare (when she attended) wherever. What is there to complain about?They have changed our lives for the better and given me PEACE again. Yes, there are some flaws but not enough to throw the baby out with the bath water. When I couldn't find ONE doctor within a 30 mile radius to give us the level of counseling we needed with our insurance, THEY were there. And still are. So...there you go. There's my peace.

This place is lovely. They are excellent at working with your insurance and helping you to get the most out your time in treatment. The staff are very warm and supportive and do everything they can to make life easier for you while you are there. Really, this place provides quality of care way above and beyond the norm for this level of care, while allowing you both great freedom and supportive structure. If you are looking for a place that feels like home (only probably more stable), this is the place for you. They always make sure you have transportation available, which is great for people who don t have cars. They let you work and build community and they don t give up on people easily. The location is great, the housing is great, and the staff are amazing. The maximum stay is six months although I guess they make exceptions. They have alumni activities and you are always welcome to return once you graduate.Five stars. And believe me, I know my treatment centers.
