So I'm giving this a two star because this one lady at the front desk made me feel uncomfortable about asking how much I can pay on my balance. I told her I could pay this amount but she wanted more. I'm a single mom and on a fixed income. I am trying my best. I paid an amount last time as well which was a week ago. It feels like to me like at the front desk all they are interested in your money and not very friendly. My daughters counselor is very good and don't want to leave. Please management talk to your front desk workers about being more understanding.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

With trauma therapy, you can reclaim your life after witnessing or experiencing a traumatic event. Therapists help you process the memories, which promotes emotional healing and enables you to build resilience to navigate future challenges and triggers.

Although the scheduling department is nice, and my counselor was fantastic. I am giving them a one star because of their billing department. They claim that you owe a copayment up front, but they went months without telling me this and no withdrawals from my account for my copayment. Months later they overdrew my account with a few hundred dollars worth of copays. I addressed this and asked if I could pay up retrospectively (as most places nowadays allow) going forward, they said this couldn't be done. I removed my payment info so that they couldn't overdraw my account again. Only for them to come back and say that copayments are due up front, however my bank account says otherwise. This issue went mute for a while. My bills were always paid on time and paid to the full amount. But recently they somehow found old billing information and withdrew payments from my account without my authorization. Because of the billing department I wish I could give them negative stars. I'm very saddened to leave, but this is uncalled for and very unprofessional. Tread lightly with their billing department and watch your bank statements!!!

Started counseling last year and it was helpful but a combative experience because of counselor. She fell asleep a few times. I thought this was Christian counseling but it wasn't after first few visits. Last visit May 2024 and I never heard from them again to schedule or anything. No explanation. Not a good fit period

This is only week 2 and I love Michelle. I look forward to our meetings and just discussing life!! I love her passion... Fast forward a year later counseling with this therapist stopped no explanation. Connected with a different counselor did not feel they were a good fit. Then asked for a new one just not a good experience..

I had a terrible experience here. I went for Christian/biblical counseling for marriage issues. In my first session, he told me my marriage was hopeless so basically no point in talking about it, so let s dig into my childhood. I never went back.

Response from the owner9 months ago
Thank you for taking the time to share your review, Katelyn, and your unfortunate experience. Recently, Emerge has been blessed with a new leadership team that has been focused on quality training and new clinicians. We welcome you to visit again for an improved experience with the new team!
