outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) support a client's sustained sobriety as they exit detox or step down from an inpatient program. IOPs are also designed for clients who are at an elevated risk of relapse. Intensive outpatient treatment typically requires clients to engage in a minimum of nine hours of therapy per week, but clients may receive up to 20 therapeutic hours weekly. IOP treatment modalities often combine psychotherapy, recovery-focused life skills training, and medication assisted treatment (MAT).

aftercare iconAftercare

Rehab aftercare programs offer clients in addiction recovery a robust continuum of care after clients have completed active treatment. These services address recovery as a life-long process and are designed to evolve with clients' changing needs. Clients may partner with their case managers and/or addiction recovery team to identify the rehab aftercare services that are right for them. They may receive career counseling, housing assistance, peer coaching, 12 step program induction, among many other services.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

dialectical iconDialectical Behavior Therapy

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

desert iconMotivational Interviewing

house-medical iconTrauma Therapy

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

family iconFamily Therapy

Very disappointed in this place!I invested my troubles to 2 different workers. First worker I invested 3 months worth of time with, she left and I was never contacted, next person had me believing she was going to do this and that, I was stoked. The first phone call and that was that. Nothing! Not even a courtesy call to let them know where she is and Being in a state of depression, this is not acceptable

Question everything, I've realized different employees will throw all kinds of ideas at you. Not really thinking about how it could impact your life. I shouldn't know more about these " resources " they claim are available. Then El Hogar employees.I am wondering where all this supposed funding is going. With all these "resources " anyone call 211. I swear that's every El Hogar employees go to. I ask "have you called them lately"? a bunch of dead ends and no one is truly advocating.

My brother was referred to this location by Hope Facility august 16th, he was giving medications to last him 1 months and was told to contact Access to make an appt to speak to a Psychiatrist for refills. We were told that his info was not in their system and had to complete an assessment. We called back again and they told us the same thing, which resulted in a 2nd assessment. Then they gave us Abel s number for this location. My brother and I have been trying to get a hold of him for 3 weeks now. We ve left 2-3 voicemails with no response and no call back. I can understand that you all are busy, but at this point this is complete negligence, which will be extremely detrimental to my brothers mental health. We finally decide to call able non stop today (9/5). he finally picked up and requested a 3rd assessment. , told us that my brother would not be able to get his medication until the 21st and that there was nothing else he could do.So we decided to contact a different mental hospital, my brother has an appt with a psychiatrist tomorrow. I ll be contacting hope facility so they can transfer his referral there. If it s taking you 3 weeks to finally answer your phone , I can t imagine it getting better from here. 0stars.

Rude and Lazy. I had a great first impression of this place, couldnt wait to start working with them. However the second you need to actually establish care they dump you. The receptionist is rude and unprofessional. Ray dodges calls and appointments, seek care at a facility that actually knows what it's doing. This place is a waste of time. Such a let down, I really thought they were professionals.
