About Woonsocket Comprehensive Treatment Center
Discovery House is in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. They’re part of the Comprehensive Treatment Centers network to treat alcohol and drug abuse. Here, you’ll receive medication assisted treatment and outpatient counseling to help you reach recovery. They accept private insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid, which can defray the cost of the treatment.
The main medication you’ll receive is methadone. Licensed clinicians will administer your doses. The medications help manage your cravings, making you less likely to relapse or overdose during treatment. They can help you stay stable so you can focus on creating new habits and mindsets for a substance free life.
You’ll also have outpatient treatment to help you work through the root causes of addiction and find ways to live a fulfilled life without substances. Staff is nice. However They constantly make you late for work you never know what you re going to run into when you get there every day it s different they need to have better policies and procedures for when the computers go down because people in recovery are very delicate and if they lose a job that could set them over the edge when they re just trying to get their methadone and do the right thing. Exceptions must be made on a very strict case by case basis for accommodations for certain people. Other than that, this is a good clinic, you are in take homes fast if you do what you re supposed to do and they don t require much out of you it s a lot better than spectrum or any other clinic around. Not that there are many to choose from spectrum and here . They need to keep a full staff daily so there s never long lines thus making people late for obligations and when in delicate recovery a loss of job can set someone over the edge in a snowball effect. Please we are BEGGING you KEN to help us more especially for the people that are doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing to a T.

Outpatient Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
Medically Assisted Detox Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.
Treatments
Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone.
