My Journey to this point has consisted of 3 rehabs(not court ordered), 2 DUIs, as well as LOTS of good times, lots of travel, the best Friends and Family! A valuable life worth living! A true Alcoholic that should never ever hold or pick up a drink! Unfortunately now I'm plagued with Kidney and Liver Disease. Initially the mere thought of having a 3 hour meeting with a Therapist and small group was the LAST thing in my Vision. However I need this service for 3 months to possibly get on the Kidney Transplant List. I have grown to truly enjoy Kyle's IOP group. I look forward to it and miss it on Wednesdays and Fridays. Kyle has opened my eyes and nudged me to attend meetings. My answer turned from NO thank you, to I will give AA meetings a go. Keep in mind that I have been in and out of the Program for 20+ years. Guess what? I am enjoying AA meetings now! I dreaded them before. I am grateful to Kyle and his group for pushing me to my next step in Recovery. Such a blessing!! I painfully have to admit they are very well not worth the air they breath.... I hope they have changed or some way some how have God forsaken made a change in someone lives that was useful......all that above mentioned for this..)to appreciate a very special and wonderful counselor..Sonya... Never and I mean never have I personally had the opportunity given to me now to be her client..... It's a blessing and to truly see someone who has perfected there craft or profession to the point that she has....In this game it's so hard to connect on a equal playing field and to see some one who truly cares and I mean this counselor will walk thu hell and lead you out just follow her lead....If you have the blessing and it is to be her client your gonna get what you put in... Nothing more nor less and I promise you that.. if only the world really knew what I know you would go crawling to her feet begging to be her client.....
