About Crossroads of Asheville, NC

During MAT, FDA-approved medications are combined with mental health counseling to help individuals address the mental, physical, and emotional aspects of addiction. The medications mitigate withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings, which increase the likelihood of a successful recovery.

Crossroads provides outpatient counseling services to support MAT. The mental health component of this program allows individuals to learn new skills and tools for recovery while simultaneously addressing the reasons for substance use and any underlying mental health concerns.

Crossroads Treatment Center may accept a variety of insurance plans, such as Cigna, Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Amerigroup, Ambetter, United Healthcare, and more. Insurance plans vary, so be sure to verify coverage information and out of network benefits with the insurer.

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

I am grateful for this place, because they've helped me get clean and stay clean. They have great counselor's, And the women that dose you are patient, and kind especially in times having to deal with ppl that are cranky or feeling sick. They have lots of rules but as long as you follow them and act right you should be fine!! I have been there for a few years and at a high level so I dont have to come but once every two weeks. This could be possible for you as long as your attendance is good, you follow rules, and pass your drug screens. Doing all this and of course acting right should make it possible for you get all of the benefits this place has to offer!!

For the miracles they make with the little they have is truly amazing thing to be a part of. People don't know how honest and straight to point I'm being when I say this place gave me my life back. Not only that but a new attitude for life. Before them I only thought death was my escape from addiction after 20 years. But nah no matter how broken beat up I felt this place gave me a sense I matter. I've not felt that in years. Sobriety is possible, if you believe in it. Miracles do happen. October 2024 is 3 years, all thanks to you guys. My family says thank you, my kids say thank you and I most definitely wanna say thank you. #soberlife

The staff is very understanding at this facility and the treatment is helping. I would have given five stars except for their policy on snow days. There needs to be a better notification system in place such as a mass text advising if closings
