Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

when i look back on my time at crossroads clubhouse, I dont see a story of recovery or success. i see a history of abuse. neglect. oppression. whenever someone would start to feel good about themself, staff would find a way to put them down, it makes me sick. meddle in affairs, and only help people find either minimum wage employment or force you into contracts. staff are vehemently anti-union, would routinely break up congregations between members. Earlene the director was always paranoid about listening devices, stating that it could trigger paranoid schizophrenics as an excuse. make no mistake, this is a federal institution; they do not work in the interest of the people of this county, only for federal interests, I.E. suppresssing creatives and neurdivergents.

Raven, we are sorry Crossroads did not meet your needs. Clubhouses are spaces where people with mental health challenges can connect with the community, make friendships, and receive support with employment, education, and recovery. The vast majority of Crossroads Clubhouse members are grateful for the opportunities the Clubhouse provides. Your statement about listening devices confuses us since the director says she has never had an issue with them. At the Clubhouses, we appreciate people for who they are and creativity is encouraged! It sounds like Crossroads was not a good fit for you, but we wish you the best.

Crossroads Clubhouse helped me get back on my feet, during a time I was really struggling. 10 years later I'm always welcome back with open arms, as I've continued to made great strides. Earlene, the director, is super friendly, and all the members and staff are super supportive. Crossroads isn't therapy, it's a community of people working together to make each other's day a little brighter. Crossroads really shines because it helps it's members shine. Five Stars.

Went for years until you try living your own life and then they start judging you. They are very particular on what they want you to do and if at anytime you show individuality you're not as welcomed. It just feels different. Great place, just old fashioned and stuck in their ways.
