Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Their Outpatient program is typically a 3 day per week program, held Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 12:00 pm This structured program allows for the individual to receive treatment on an outpatient basis while alternating school. Programming includes group therapy, individual therapy, activity therapy and family therapy.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.
24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care
At certain points in the recovery process, it's important to have support available 24/7. 24-hour clinical care offers a safe environment in which to recover from drug or alcohol addiction in peace, knowing medical detox and other treatment will happen with professionals on hand.
inpatient iconInpatient
Inpatient Care is structured to meet the mental health and chemical dependency issues plaguing children and teens addressing their needs in an acute care setting. Adolescents receive structured programming in a therapeutic environment well equipped to handle individuals in crisis. Individuals seeing care typically have been experiencing behavioral disturbances and an inability to function appropriately at home, school or elsewhere in their environment. The Therapeutic environment to keep the family and/or support system involved in treatment while concentrating on the individuals presenting problems so they can gain the coping skills necessary to be successful upon discharge.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

A quality drug rehab in Georgia can help you overcome addiction. This environment is designed to help you address the complex issues contributing to drug dependence. The goal of treatment is to give you the tools you need to make a full recovery.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Programs

teen-program thumbnail image
Teen Program
Teen programs are designed to address the unique pressures teens face, pressures that can drive them to experiment with dangerous, addictive substances. They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.
adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image
LGBTQ Program
Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Creativity is inherently healing, and can help those in recovery express thoughts or feelings they might not otherwise be able to. Creative arts therapy can include music, poetry/writing, painting, sculpting, dance, theater, sandplay, and more. Unlike traditional art, the final product matters far less than the experience of creation and expression itself.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

This place is the worst place ever. Do not bring your love ones here. They are all scam artist and do not care about anyone here. There are a handful of staff members that actually care and treat you and your family with respect. The doctors are horrible please find other means before agreeing to take your love ones to this facility

This is now day 8 of my daughter being there for suicidal thoughts, depression, cutting and voices in her head. She was prescribed medication on her 1st day. She says noone listens to her there. She called me in front of a nurse, bawling her eyes out and said she was going to kill herself...noone did anything! She has cut herself 3 times since being there! All they do is take away what she cut with and not find out WHY she is cutting herself. Not once has a Dr called me! I have called for the Dr 3 times and left messages with staff and social workers to please have him call me. Was called yesterday and told she would be released today or tomorrow. How? She isnt any better! She seems worse. She told others she was coming home upon release and commit suicide. I am STILL waiting on the dr to call! I refuse for her to come home without the proper help and without speaking to a damn Dr! I hope someone sees this review and opts to NEVER send their loved one here!

No communication from doctors and nursing/social worker staff is lazy and rude. I got no information about what they were doing to my child and never attempted to get a medical history established. When I came to pick my child up, the nurse on duty didn't want to do a discharge 45 minutes prior to her shift end, so she didn't even pass the message on to the oncoming shift and I waited for 3 hrs in the waiting room. This place and the staff is just horrible

Went here for about two years in the teenage section. The staff was kind and the food was delicious. They let you call your family and they encourage healthy friendships while there. Real relaxed environment you can watch tv/read/draw/color/ walk around most of the time in the "living room". They weren't really strict at all.

I am a family member of a young lady who was recently admitted to Crescent Pines. The young lady was admitted for behavior that suggested she may have mental health issues (making up serious things, threatening behavior, claims of depression and suicidal thoughts, appearing to live in an alternate reality at times, etc.).The first night she was there, she had only the hospital gown that she was transferred there in. I was told that it was cold and that she could have regular clothes. I drove almost two hours from where I live to drop off clothes to her that night, got the clothes dropped off around 9 PM, and she was not given them until the next morning. Not once did a therapist/psychologist sit down and have one-on-one sessions with this patient to dig in, ask about what all she had done/said, and find out why. Instead, she only received a little bit of group therapy each day she was there. During the group therapy, everyone was told to say something nice about the other kids there; every day at this point in the group therapy, a couple of boys told this patient that she was sexy, and the staff allowed it.This patient was also recruited by other kids at Crescent Pines to join gangs, told all kinds of gang stories which struck up her curiosity and had her asking all about these gangs when she got out, and she was threatened by other kids like she was in a prison or something. She also had extremely inappropriate remarks made to her by boys there.Like some of the other reviews said, they try to keep people there as long as possible to get more money. I had to call and force their hand to release her after 5.5 days, and after 5.5 days, she was released with no valuable information on what is going on in her mind.Stay away from this joke of a place.

Worse place to go too. They tell you something having you think it s for your good but than leave you on the couch in the cold lobby with a thin blanket for 12 hours and still won t let you go elsewhere for treatment
