About CPC Integrated Health Aberdeen Counseling Cente

The adult intensive outpatient program offers three hours of treatment per day, three days per week, for 12 to 16 weeks. This program specializes in providing dual diagnosis substance abuse treatment and medical care. Program participants engage in individual and group therapy, processing and managing trauma, emotional regulation and mindfulness, psychiatric care, and medication management.

For individuals who need medication, suboxone Vivitrol, naltrexone, and Campral are used to eliminate withdrawal symptoms, reduce drug cravings, and sustain recovery long-term. Weekly outpatient group therapy for substance abuse is available at this location. Other outpatient treatment includes vocational training, academic support, financial management, daily living skills, self-advocacy, and crisis intervention.

Treatment may be covered by your insurance plan. Verify your coverage and out-of-network benefits directly with your provider. In-network providers may include plans such as Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Wellmark, Beacon, and Ambetter.

Medical briefcase icon Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient rehabs enable clients to receive a full continuum of care while continuing to live at home. They're often ideal for clients who are stepping down from inpatient care but some clients may prefer to transition into outpatient treatment immediately after completing detox. Many outpatient facilities also offer ambulatory medical detox for low-risk clients. Outpatient treatment generally includes psychotherapy and life skills training. Clients in opioid and/or alcohol recovery may also receive medication assisted treatment (MAT).

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient programs are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs. The Intensive Outpatient Program gives patients the chance to participate in a structured treatment plan part-time while they transition back to home and work or other responsibilities. This program provides half-day treatment (Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:15 am to 12:30 pm).

aftercare iconAftercare

Clients in a rehab aftercare program have typically completed detox and intensive inpatient and are medically stable. These programs are designed to address addiction recovery as a life-long process. Outpatient counseling and recovery education are typically categorized as drug rehab aftercare, but many clients continue to receive support after being discharged from formal outpatient treatment. Case managers and recovery teams facilitate clients' access to peer coaching, career counseling, 12 step program induction, and related services.

12-step icon12-Step

Participants in 12 step programs engage in a rigorous process of personal growth as a cornerstone of long-term recovery. They are expected to attend anonymous, peer-led 12 step meetings, which are free, open to the public, and available multiple times per day in most communities. Though these programs are rooted in spiritual principles, religious affiliation is not required. Self-selected peer sponsors mentor participants as they work through the 12 steps, learning forgiveness, understanding, acceptance, and accountability.

heart-hands iconIntervention Services

A drug intervention in New Jersey is more than a confrontational conversation. This organized effort is specific and goal-oriented. During the intervention, family members share specific examples of how the person's addiction has impacted their lives and spell out what they will do if the individual does not get treatment. The intervention also presents a clear treatment plan, which typically involves input from intervention services.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one’s body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal. Linden Oak's Addiction Services unit is a separate area within Linden Oaks Hospital that offers treatment for those undergoing withdrawal as they stop the cycle of addiction. Patients are detoxified under the care of a psychiatrist, and their staff has specialized training to provide the medication, monitoring and support needed during the withdrawal process.

I don't understand why mental health programs make me feel bad. Bad transportation, bad food, bad groups. Maybe it's just me I don't know.

Everything was good, and then they let my psychiatrist go.1. They called me the night before my next appointment to let me know my psychiatrist was no longer employed there. It was an oversight to not tell me ahead of time.2. New psychiatrist wasn't keen of telehealth (previous one was all telehealth) and said I have to come in for at least the first few.3. New psych started my first two appointments 10-15 minutes late.4. They re-scheduled my next appointment and only finally accommodated my telehealth request because the psych was unavailable to meet in person (as in, it's only okay when it's convenient for them, not for the patient)5. On that telehealth appointment, I waited 20 minutes before I had to call the office to get the psych to join. He thought it was going to be in-person (wasn't he unavailable for that?) and didn't realize I had been waiting. As in, if I didn't call them, he would have just missed the entire appointment. The place seems to be incredibly disorganized overall. I recommend searching elsewhere for your needs.

I appreciate the detailed account and I am sorry to hear about the situation with losing your former psychiatrist, which led to confusion with the new one. If you're open to discussing this further, I'd like to hear more about your experience and explore options to set you up with a new prescriber whom you can connect with. Feel free to please call me at your convenience. I'm Ken, and you can reach me at 732-935-2251. Thank you

My mom suffers from depression. It's been a long time to get her going out and speaking more during therapy, making friends and expressing herself. My mom loves it here. I can see that going here has changed her, made her more open and out of her shell and most importantly she is happy. Im so glad things worked out the way they did. The time the staff here takes with everyone, the love they give, is shown in the smile on my moms face. They treat everyone like family here and I am so content with my moms progress. Thanks so much CPC.

When I first started going there I would say that I would have given them 5 stars, however recently the level of care has diminished. The current therapist that I am working with has belittled me during my sessions. The therapist appears that she would rather be somewhere else other than in therapy. Recently the therapist has been 15 minutes late, very argumentative, and maybe needs to think about a new career path

Terrible customer service.. wish I could give zero stars! shame to be called a behavioral center w/ such rude employees! This place has the worst receptionist I have ever interacted with in my life. She didn t relay to the nurse about me being 10 minutes late and the nurse left. I was lost and couldn t find the building. And it added another 5 min to eta. Received no phone call asking how far away I was! had an awful attitude and was confirmed by the other nurse that she had never left her seat to inform the blood work nurse of anything. He only did urine analysis so was no use for me wasting my time and money.Terrible customer care.

Why is everyone that works here so ridiculously rude? Seriously, I want to know. It's amazing how many people work here and always have an attitude. I just called to get a zoom code and the girl, yes girl because women don't act like that was abhorrently rude for absolutely No REASON! The highers up at cpc are even worse. Majority of the people I've spoken with have had similar experiences. Like you're dealing with people with MH issues, not the checkout line at taco bell. If you're that miserable, QUIT! Let ppl who genuinely want to help others work here. Hard pass Ken, you guys should all be fired and have your degrees revoked.
