These people literally saved my life. They are extremely professional and go above and beyond to help you and if they can't they help you find the help you need. The location issues are bs, what's more important, the location or the help you get?

There HAS to be reform and I will do EVERYTHING possible so not one other person or family suffers due to your poor judgement and failed responsibility. Your agency was contacted about someone with a history of mental health, self harm and is disabled going through a hard time, suffering from loss, suicidal/ self harm thoughts and threats that just self harmed that YOU saw, YOU failed him by not allowing a court order for help that everyone in contact knew he so needed to prevent him from harming himself you failed Tioga County your duty as an agency is to protect those that can not protect themselves. You failed the only 2 people with the county he has that aren t even related solely caseworkers but tried to fulfil their duty and responsibility with patience, compassion and most importantly heart! Through relentless efforts YOU REFUSED to help until he is on a stretcher fighting for his life.Shame on you, laws are in place and your agency failed to fulfill the 1 duty you have and a man and his family suffered today for someone that had made outcry s seeked support since Monday 2 angels worked tirelessly to protect a stranger of them desperately needing help for one of those angels not getting the support from Concern the agency to provide the court order forced to try and render aid to him and save him.For what reason Concern what is your agency out? To provide the only service your company is MEMTAL HEALTH, lack of compassion, training, or capacity competency. I understand it s not your brother, uncle, father. But this is a company focus the owners who couldn t care less set, the job the crisis workers applied for. To the 4 workers that failed an amazing person, the family and a county shame on YOU!

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program
A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a short-term form of intensive rehab, usually for those with acute symptoms that are hard to manage but don’t require 24-hour care. PHPs have structured programming (i.e. individual and/or group therapy), and usually meet 3-5 days a week for around 6 hours (i.e. 9am-3m). Some PHPs are residential (patients sleep on site) and some are not, so patients sleep at home. PHPs can last from 1-6 months, and some offer transportation and meals.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in Pennsylvania can be helpful to individuals who are experiencing substance use disorder and various mental health conditions. It helps you identify damaging thought and behavior patterns and replace them with healthy ones.

Dialectical behavior therapy in Pennsylvania is an evidence based technique that involves group therapy, individual therapy, and phone coaching. Group sessions focus on learning behavioral skills. Individual therapy gives you the opportunity to apply what you're learning to your personal situations. Phone coaching allows you to call your therapist during the week for help with challenging situations.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

Incorporating recreational therapy into drug and alcohol addiction programs in Pennsylvania helps you rebuild your life and maintain sobriety by discovering new interests and developing healthy coping mechanisms. Recreational activities can include painting, team sports, and hiking to promote physical and mental health.

Emotions that surface during experiential therapy can reveal how you've coped with situations in the past. A trained therapist will guide you through conversations about your emotions and reactions either during therapy or in a follow up session. Therapy may include activities such as equine therapy, wilderness therapy, martial arts, drama, music, or art.

My teen had been going here for a long time. We moved and were told we could do video appointments still. My teen was having some problems with his meds, and they suddenly told us we had to find a new psychiatrist and refused to help us. Told us to go to the ER for meds. Wouldn t even help while we looked for a new psychiatrist. No empathy here.

My sister went here and she had a terrible experience. The building was erie and didnt have a good look. It is loacted in the basement of and apartment complex. She said it was very unsettling and disturbing. It also smelt horrible she describe it as if it had smelt like urine. She went for her intake appointment and the woman who was speaking to her was very rude. The woman told my sister she just needed to lose weight ,diet and exercise and that she is to young for the medications she is on my sister is 21. The appointment got to the point where my sister had to make up an exscuse just to leave. When i saw her walking back to the car crying i knew something horrible happened. She was texting me throught the appointment and she never once had a good feeling. My advice for people who are looking for a profesonial psychiatrist do not go to Concern.

I know someone who has been trying to get in for a year now. No evals, no assistance, all she has been worth is a 10 minute phone call once or twice and a switch to a new person with no communication 3 weeks after a promised change. Ridiculous.

I love it there, the staff is wonderful. And they are VERY professional. I would recommend it to anyone. Everyone who had or has me as a client was and is there to help me succeed in being better, because of the staff there I have learned healthy coping skills, and I have become a better person in general.

Sketchy place to go. It's located in the old projects. Weird people standing around and apartments upstairs. Not professional at all. Everyone in the office was nice but felt uncomfortable the entire time. Plus it took me forever to find the place cuz they dont have signs to direct you. It was in a basement.....
