Detailed review coming, depending on compass healths response and resolution. I need an administrator to contact me regarding Sam and Michael. I may delete or rewrite this depending on response and resolution.I asked for an administrator to get involved, but one got involved without asking me what the problem I had with my doctor was. My doctors waited months to get Michael involved when he saw I was begging and pleading for him to provide service after 5-6months and had no plan, and no intention of forming a treatment plan or providing the therapy requested since intake. Even knowing how his method was making me worse, effecting me, causing me to be a shut in, how he was encouraging the agoraphobe habits, how he argued against the very therapy he was coming to provide and was referred by other doctors and specialists. He never made the effort. This is documented in my emails to him.He tried to catch me off guard and show up with Michael, painting me as a difficult patient when I was the one requesting help because of the treatment I m recieving and have been documenting the whole thing in email. Gave Sam multiple opportunities during each email and each visit to give me a doctor that would put in the work, he d come over to confront me instead of emailing a reply bc it let him lie and twist words and say, I only said or did that cause.. only to make another excuse later. They tried to force me into a bad plan that took away services unless I came into see them. It was spiteful and Michael tried to support it like it made a difference. But it doesn t because Michael doesn t know me, have an understanding of my situation or anything yet and doesn t know my current problems with Sam. So he can t even make an informed decision for resolution.I have more in depth examples for each of these. I am literally telling Sam how he s causing obsessive thoughts and this and that, and he continues to do the same things.Saying sams a psychologist so... doesn t mean he gets to use me as a Guinea pig and try therapies that make me worst, when other doctors note that reflecting with cause obsessive thoughts and I won t be able to leave the house on that state, but he s causing it. He s ignoring patient needs, he s lying to administrators and not getting them involved in an appropriate time, allowing /causing things to escalate, out of his own choice. I was working with him for months because he would lie and make the excuses I have documented in my emails to him, he didn t want to put in the work though, and didn t want me to get him in trouble with an administrator, so he tried to beat me to it.If an administrator wants to talk to me about more, email me and I can address your concerns and keep a record of it.I m still waiting to hear back from Michael since asking for a response on 2/26 where I was understanding and willing to work with them to avoid a bad review. Until then, I have to review my current experience. I ll have to post screen shots and be more specific if I get a poor response in return from compass. I can show they weren t even following company guidelines and standards and their excuses aren t good enough (yes they acknowledge doing all this, but sams a psychologist so.. is the last excuse I was given. That doesn t make it alright to waste 6months of important treAtment and opportunity. I ll literally be begging him to start, saying I m ready to leave the house and he ll be like, yeah.. no rush, it could take a couple months and I ll be like etc why would we wait or cause delays when I m ready now? In 2 months I might have a panic attack and get worse! And he ll make other excuses to hold back or not do anything. (Also documented in my email to him)I think this is important to discuss bc purposely providing incorrect treatments without the patients consent is concerning. I have training to make medical decisions for at risk youth and things like that and if they did this to a teen under my supervision I d be making some reports. If he didn t know how it was effecting me it might be okay, but he did.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
seniors-program thumbnail image
Seniors Program
Nearly one million adults age 65 and older live with a substance use disorder. Treatment providers who specialize in senior care understand the social, psychological, and physical effects of aging and how they relate to recovery. They can help clients address particular challenges and risks they may face as they get older such as overdosing and medication interactions and dependencies.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Nutrition therapy, aka medical nutrition therapy (MNT), is a way of treating physical, emotional, and medical conditions through diet. Specific dietary plans are designed by professional nutritionists or registered dietitians, and patients follow them in order to positively affect their physical and mental health.

Experiential therapy in Washington is based on Gestalt therapy. This method emphasizes experiences over language and is founded on the philosophy that clients can't just think their way to recovery. They must feel and do. Therefore, experiential therapy supplements talk therapy with experiences, such as equine therapy, art, music, or adventure courses.

Merely a business that is not invested in mental health. You guys have no idea how difficult it can be to seek help and have the strength to do it, because if you knew how hard it is you would never let something as simple as appointments slip off from your hands

Purely a business and not invested in mental health. I was referred to the clinic because of my limited availability and yet to get an appointment I must come in for a "cattle call" of mental health for assessment on days when I am not available. I have no idea how their services are because they clearly do not want to help those who need their services. Look at the other ratings for their clinics, this is not where you want to go.

The therapists and clinicians really care about their clients. The only drawback for me is they have no M.D. on site only one nurse practitioner.

I have been trying to make an appointment to get help and instead was met with scoffs and a terrible system to try tooth and nail to see a professional. It's absurd. You have no idea how difficult in can be to seek help. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!
