About Community Treatment COMTREA – Comprehensive Health Center at the Valley

If you’re battling drug and alcohol addictions in House Springs, Missouri, drop by Compass Health Network. For close to half a century, they’ve helped folks of all ages. You can sign up for therapy either in their clinic in person or online.

One thing I really like about them is that they offer a program called assertive community treatment. You can contact them any time, day or night. If you suffer from any psychotic disorders or you haven’t had much luck with a traditional outpatient program, try giving them a buzz. They might be able to help.

They’ll enroll you in workshops. That way, you’ll learn practical life skills like how to balance your checkbook. You’ll strengthen your relationships and be better at coping with frustrations in a healthy way. If you’re looking for housing or a job, they’ll definitely lend a hand. Being able to land a steady job is one of their main goals for all their clients. And if you’re looking for dental work, they can help you with your teeth as well. That way, you’ll have one more reason to smile.

Medical briefcase icon Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

Drug rehab in Missouri usually involves several phases: detox, rehab, and aftercare. The rehab phase may include a combination of inpatient and outpatient treatments, as the individual moves through a continuum of care on their recovery journey.

check iconDual Diagnosis

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

substance-abuse iconSubstance Abuse

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Much better than Upward Smiles!!! Prime exaple is compass came to my sons school, they said he has 1 cavity. 10 days later we have a cleaning with Upward Smiles. They say he has 5 cavities!! Compared the teeth that each dentist was claiming to have a cavity or occlusion (watch for possible future cavity). Only 2 teeth matched. Dentist at Compass was very nice and informative. If you are tired of being told at each cleaning that your child has 4 more cavities and want a second opinion, or just want a different dentist that takes Medicaid then i highly recommend giving Compass a try.
