Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

house-medical iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient programs are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs. The Intensive Outpatient Program gives patients the chance to participate in a structured treatment plan part-time while they transition back to home and work or other responsibilities.

house-medical iconAftercare Support

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy for drug and alcohol addiction includes focused attention on the unique challenges that trigger addictive behavior. During individual therapy sessions, you have a safe space in which to discuss stressors and emotional struggles. Therapy fosters trust and open communication that helps develop personalized strategies to overcome addiction.

Group Therapy

In Arizona, group therapy helps promote accountability and motivation for men and women who want to stay committed to addiction recovery. It fosters a sense of community where you can share your progress and learn new coping strategies from your peers.

Have been coming here for the past 3 years or so, and I have never had a stable counselor in all this time!!!! And never have I had the same experience and attention that I did when attending CODAC!!! I can honestly say that CODAC and their staff really do care for their members and every single CONCERN is answered always at all times

Response from the owner2 months ago

We strive to provide the best care for our members and will address your concerns to ensure a better experience in the future. We hear you, we appreciate you and we thank you for choosing CMS.

I received services here for about 2 months, and was honestly so sad to leave. I live on the Eastside so Im now receiving services closer, but the daily drive was so worth getting to see Roxanne & Stephanies smiling faces! The fact that she greets everyone by name is so wonderful. When youre brand new to recovery, being treated like a human being means SO much. I never felt like a junkie or criminal, they always made me feel so comfortable. The people that work here from the front desk, to the providers, to the girls at the dosing windows are all truly so kind and obviously actually care about helping their clients. Knowing that theyre their if I need them is a true comfort in my recovery journey. Thank you all so much, truly.

Hello Samantha! Im Jess. Thank you for these kind words regarding Roxanne and all our staff. This is exactly our goal and such a key part of what we try to live every day with our Mission: to treat those in need of our services with respect and dignity. I will make sure the team sees this. Thanks again and were here for you whenever you need us!

I used to love coming to Community Medical Services for my treatment Ive been coming here for over 5 years. Ive noticed the past couple months things have changed drastically.... I got a new counselor a few months ago that Ive never met I talked to him because I was leaving town and needed to. But other than that never met or heard from him prior Ive switched counselor 3 times in 6 months makes me not want to open up because Ill probably have someone new next month or they just dont care about me. I used to feel really great having someone to talk to now I dont have that. The front staff used to talk to me and my kids and give them snacks now they dont as a matter of fact I came in with my kids and they said me and my kids had to leave after dosing instantly my 4 year old was finishing her castle blocks but we got kicked out. Then today 4/24/24 I come in and I was told my privileges were being taken due to a medical call back but mind you I have 4 different numbers for CMS and none of the 4 called it was a new number but since I missed that ONE call all my privileges are now gone. Mind you I was upset and crying because I work so hard to get privileges and a counselor named Marissa started laughing at me with another client and told the client your up to date on everything hahaha you dont want to be like that hahaha witch is crazy because they are supposed to be there to help especially upset not talk about you with other clients. I had to speak to the staff supervisor about it.... its just gotten bad I feel this is more of a money thing then sobriety for us. Again to be laughed at to not have a counselor to not feel welcomed I dont know what happened... something has to change!!!

No communication when you submit resumes for jobs/ complete job.applications

Response from the owner7 months ago
Hi Nicole. I talked to our HR team because I know they make a huge effort to keep in touch with all candidates! The position you applied for was posted for awhile and actually filled the same day you submitted an application for it - just a timing issue! She said she would contact you with an update and talk to the team about the process of responding to any person who submits an application to ensure were not leaving anyone hanging. Appreciate you reaching out with this feedback, which is in no way a reflection of the good work the Park Ave. team does supporting their patients!

(2021) Best clinic on the southside everyone is really cool no judge mental employees etc.. The pir support Bryan is real cool gets along with everyone and supports the cos... Over all great clinic.... fast forward to 2023 front desk ladys are sweet hearts, beside that clinic sucks and is bad people hang out outside and its like drug central. no motivation to reach your goals and pir support left and is no longer there.
