Where do I start with Banyan? I was so nervous and scared to admit myself, but there was absolutely no need for me to be.Nurse Heather and BHT Tammy did my intake and they were so kind to me while I nervously swayed in the front area. The Director of Operations, Lexi, came up to the facility late to help them with it as well. It was almost midnight. They wanted to move as quickly as they could so that I could get in bed since it had been a long day of traveling. The next day, I was met with delicious food from the chef, Luce. Her cooking during my stay was INCREDIBLE. She made the best breakfasts, pastas, sandwiches, meatloaf and all the other yummy comfort meals I could think of. She is so good at listening and customizing for food allergies, etc.The director of nursing, Sara, has a wonderful staff. Christa, Heidi, and Heather were my favorites, though all of the nurses were very informative and caring. The Behavioral Health Techs were very kind as well. They were incredibly helpful and were always around to answer questions or even just talk when I was having a rough day.My therapist, Scott, was really my saving grace while I was here. He helped me really get to the root of my problems and open myself to new ideas and methods of treatment. I have a new sense of self after working with him and I will be forever grateful for him. The therapist s that taught group lessons, Kascee, Felecia and Dane were wonderful, informative and patient as well. The executive director, Mark, was always visible and available for questions and conversation. He was one of my first conversations and he calmed my nerves greatly. The head of maintenance, Bubba, was so helpful when I had any questions or issues with things around the building. My room was a little toasty and he made sure that it was comfortable for me and looked at my shower to make sure my wind down time at night was optimal. He always has the kindest smile on his face. They took us to the gym and the trampoline park while I was there. They had other activities planned, but I left before I could attend. They brought in weekly AA meetings for anyone who wanted to attend. We had game nights and karaoke nights and did lots of therapeutic art.I would highly recommend Banyan Castle Rock for anyone who is looking for substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment or both. I am a better person for attending and I can t wait to keep getting better with all of the tools that I learned here.

I was at APN for almost 3 months. It s an amazing place for healing. The only downside is the entitle of the rich people. Which isn t their problem diss that why I still give 5 stars. When I got there I was amazed and appreciative of the gratitude and hospitality. But then id mingle (which is outside of my comfort zone) and it was complaint city. Everyone always complained about Katie- my therapist. I genuinely enjoyed her. She was real- educated and insightful. They complained about the staff not being their servants. They complained about Donna in insurance/business office.(who I really liked. She is Native American and as am I- and she had animals coming to her window at every day- a sign of strength and character). I would go back. I should go back. It s such a nice place. I just don t understand why everyone complained so much.

Love this place they help you when u run into any issues they don't just tell you there's nothing they can do bout it. I went to the clinic on hanies and there were times I'd go for my doses and they wud say that my medicade didn't go thro and wudnt give us our meds. This clinic helps you to figure it out. It's a very scary feeling when u can't get ur meds especially when u rely on that med everyday. It's a very scary feeling when u think or when u are sick. And the one thing that helps u u cnt get. But I really appreciate this clinic. I come from Grants to get my meds Alb is the closest place to get them. Thank for always being so understanding and helpful

I have been going to this clinic for awhile now. You get out of it what you put Into it. I personally don't have any support system or family to help me with anything but Tara at New Season's has been amazing. You can tell she really really cares about her clients and definitely goes above and beyond to try to help in anyway she can. I don't think I'd still be going if it wasn't for her and now I don't feel so lost and alone either. They have made alot of changes there I believe people should give this place a try now if they've gone there before and had a negative experience.

I m new to both The Evolution Group and in-person therapy in general, but so far the experience has been lovely. The space is like a protective compound of renovated homes with a central peaceful garden and multiple therapy spaces. It feels safe, comfortable, and thoughtful. The staff have made the process simple like checking into a spa. My therapist, Crystal, is patient, warm, personable, and genuinely listens. I ve only had 2 sessions, but all of the worry and anxiety of being in a new environment and situation melted away during the first session. We haven t started the work of therapy just yet, but I m optimistic about the journey given the amazing start.Update: Seven months later and I'm still very much impressed. Crystal is a wonderful therapist and a beautiful soul. I'll be honest, the first 4 months felt like a rinse and spin cycle. That's just my experience of the process, but the team there made it easy to be a patient. Something strange... that place feels familiar and safe, like going home (in a good way). I continue to refer coworkers here.

    Sandie Quest
This is a truly sacred & special place to which I will always be truly grateful.I found out about about SFRC when I was at Peak in Santa Teresa, NM in April. We called & I was put on a waiting list. I called several times a week & waited 4 months. I truly wanted help & Cordillo called me this summer. He gave me a date and I couldn't make it then due to life circumstances.I asked him If I could come a week later and he said yes. When I got there after a 5 & 1/2 hour drive they offered me food & something to drink. I was taken to the back & they did a UA & assessment. The only reason they take a picture of you is to put on your file & med box, so no one gives the wrong meds to someone ( not that they would) and the staff can recognize you. When he told me that I qualified, I couldn't believe it. I was scared & had 2nd thoughts so when I went to tell my husband good-bye I told him that I was having 2nd thoughts and Cordillo was a badass & ushered me to the back before I could leave. I was scared and sick but they took care of me and the food was so good. I went in 5'9" & 106 lbs. I was malnourished & dehydrated now I weigh 120 and the gym & track there helped me to re-gain my strength. When I got there I couldn't even open the back door or walk across the parking lot because I was so weak. My counselor & case manager were truly awesome. One of the cooks there, Sarah saw how thin I was & really cared. She gave me extra food when they had food left over. Ralph, one of the med-techs I credit for me not losing my mind. I wanted to go home every day for the first 2 weeks, I told him I was to old. Lizzy, and June in the medical department were totally awesome! Common sense is a Super Power! (Fellow Sober Sister)They have programs like Healing with Horses where they integrate therapy into the experience & Mountain Center where they take you repelling down a mountain to a waterfall. (If you're in good enough shape which I was not) but I still got to experience the therapeutic aspects of it & got to participate. I had a really rough couple of weeks when I got there but I learned really quick that acceptance is the key to serenity. You're always going to encounter negative & rude people in your life and yes, there are rude people there like everywhere else but the more positive you become you can rise above any situation. If you focus on yourself and your own recovery you will be happier in life. Also, accept things as they are if you don't have the power to change it.If you think of 10 things to be grateful for before you get out of bed and keep a positive attitude it goes by really fast. If you are not willing to follow the program, have a negative attitude, or you're there for someone else, just stay home. There are also people who try to bring in drugs, but they get caught. It ruins the positive experience for everyone else. If you still want to use, don't even go.I will always be more than grateful to this place for accepting someone like me. I just want to thank everyone at SFRC.

I've been a client here at D.C.R.T for 3 years .I moved here from Colorado to get clean from a 10 year heroin addiction. I tried to quit child turkey but felt like I was going to die. never tried methadone before and was referred to drct. glad I came here it has changed my life I get 2 weeks of take homes. And complying is easy 1 hr counselor session a month on the phone. I see a lot of bad reviews and I just don't get it. I really wanted to get clean and I am doing so well. I've only had one problem one set BK that really pissed me off and still does, dirty UA that I swear to God I had not used and it set me back a little I was very upset about it. It's a messed up feeling knowing you're clean and doing so well. And being called a liar . As an addict I almost used it as an excuse to just give up. But my counselor Julian believed in me and I made it though. They took away my take homes for like a month maybe 2 months. I like the employees I like my counselor and I love my life now. Thanks DCRT
