What I was gave was not Methadone.

Staff was very helpful and caring.Attended to my needs as quickly as possible. Explained everything to me and made sure I was comfortable and completely understand what was going on.

I m new to both The Evolution Group and in-person therapy in general, but so far the experience has been lovely. The space is like a protective compound of renovated homes with a central peaceful garden and multiple therapy spaces. It feels safe, comfortable, and thoughtful. The staff have made the process simple like checking into a spa. My therapist, Crystal, is patient, warm, personable, and genuinely listens. I ve only had 2 sessions, but all of the worry and anxiety of being in a new environment and situation melted away during the first session. We haven t started the work of therapy just yet, but I m optimistic about the journey given the amazing start.Update: Seven months later and I'm still very much impressed. Crystal is a wonderful therapist and a beautiful soul. I'll be honest, the first 4 months felt like a rinse and spin cycle. That's just my experience of the process, but the team there made it easy to be a patient. Something strange... that place feels familiar and safe, like going home (in a good way). I continue to refer coworkers here.

The Staff here are AMAZING!! Everyone is so understanding immediately you feel welcomed and feel as if you've known everyone for years! I've learned so much and have grown alot since I began coming here. I STRONGLY recommend ABQ Behavior Health

This is a truly sacred & special place to which I will always be truly grateful.I found out about about SFRC when I was at Peak in Santa Teresa, NM in April. We called & I was put on a waiting list. I called several times a week & waited 4 months. I truly wanted help & Cordillo called me this summer. He gave me a date and I couldn't make it then due to life circumstances.I asked him If I could come a week later and he said yes.When I got there after a 5 & 1/2 hour drive they offered me food & something to drink. I was taken to the back & they did a UA & assessment. The only reason they take a picture of you is to put on your file & med box, so no one gives the wrong meds to someone ( not that they would) and the staff can recognize you. When he told me that I qualified, I couldn't believe it. I was scared & had 2nd thoughts so when I went to tell my husband good-bye I told him that I was having 2nd thoughts and Cordillo was a badass & ushered me to the back before I could leave. I was scared and sick but they took care of me and the food was so good. I went in 5'9" & 106 lbs. I was malnourished & dehydrated now I weigh 120 and the gym & track there helped me to re-gain my strength.When I got there I couldn't even open the back door or walk across the parking lot because I was so weak. My counselor & case manager were truly awesome. One of the cooks there, Sarah saw how thin I was & really cared. She gave me extra food when they had food left over. Ralph, one of the med-techs I credit for me not losing my mind. I wanted to go home every day for the first 2 weeks, I told him I was to old. Lizzy, and June in the medical department were totally awesome! Common sense is a Super Power! (Fellow Sober Sister)They have programs like Healing with Horses where they integrate therapy into the experience & Mountain Center where they take you repelling down a mountain to a waterfall. (If you're in good enough shape which I was not) but I still got to experience the therapeutic aspects of it & got to participate. I had a really rough couple of weeks when I got there but I learned really quick that acceptance is the key to serenity. You're always going to encounter negative & rude people in your life and yes, there are rude people there like everywhere else but the more positive you become you can rise above any situation. If you focus on yourself and your own recovery you will be happier in life. Also, accept things as they are if you don't have the power to change it.If you think of 10 things to be grateful for before you get out of bed and keep a positive attitude it goes by really fast. If you are not willing to follow the program, have a negative attitude, or you're there for someone else, just stay home. There are also people who try to bring in drugs, but they get caught. It ruins the positive experience for everyone else. If you still want to use, don't even go.I will always be more than grateful to this place for accepting someone like me. I just want to thank everyone at SFRC.

Finally here with my son...they took him in real quick now getting x-rays....can't complain...but thank you for y'alls hard work!!

I've been a client here at D.C.R.T for 3 years .I moved here from Colorado to get clean from a 10 year heroin addiction. I tried to quit child turkey but felt like I was going to die. never tried methadone before and was referred to drct. glad I came here it has changed my life I get 2 weeks of take homes. And complying is easy 1 hr counselor session a month on the phone. I see a lot of bad reviews and I just don't get it. I really wanted to get clean and I am doing so well. I've only had one problem one set BK that really pissed me off and still does, dirty UA that I swear to God I had not used and it set me back a little I was very upset about it. It's a messed up feeling knowing you're clean and doing so well. And being called a liar . As an addict I almost used it as an excuse to just give up. But my counselor Julian believed in me and I made it though. They took away my take homes for like a month maybe 2 months. I like the employees I like my counselor and I love my life now. The range of speciality therapy that is offered here is unmatched. The therapy I receive is compassionate and caring, client centered, respectful and honest. As a member of the LGBTQI+ Community I have found a comfortable place to receive not only treatment but restore my faith in mental health care in Albuquerque, NM. James has managed to help me in the short time I've been his patient and I am forever thankful for his wisdom and guidance.
