Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Clients who enroll in an intensive outpatient program (IOP) are typically either in early recovery or are experiencing a crisis that increases their relapse risk. These programs promote clients' sustained sobriety through robust support, including multiple, extended care sessions per week. Intensive outpatient treatment often encompasses an array of services, including psychotherapy, recovery education, and evidence-based holistic therapies, such as acupuncture and meditation. Many outpatient rehabs also offer medication assisted treatment (MAT).

Programs

Adult program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Men and women receive emotional support from their peers during group therapy sessions. These are typically people who face the same struggles that you do. This exposure fosters a sense of camaraderie and community while reducing feelings of isolation and loneliness that often accompany addiction.

Men and women in New York undergoing one on one individual therapy for drug and alcohol addiction treatment will address the unique psychological and emotional aspects that are often associated with addiction triggers. Your therapist helps you build a relapse prevention plan and set achievable goals to improve your mental health and achieve long term sobriety.

Trauma therapy involves working through the psychological and emotional impact of a traumatic event. You learn to identify the triggers and develop coping mechanisms that build a sense of safety and trust in yourself.

Family therapy helps individual members of the family unit navigate the complexities of addiction. Therapists provide you with the tools you need to improve communication skills and conflict resolution. When families work together, they can support their loved one's recovery and help to restore balance and harmony within the household.

Coping with day to day living is a challenge while in addiction recovery. Life skills training helps you learn how to manage daily tasks and deal with stress in healthy ways. This is key to long term recovery.

When recovering from addiction, it can be difficult to find the words to express your emotions and thoughts. Creative arts therapy in New York gives you a way to express yourself beyond words. Options include sculpting, music, drawing, dance, and drama.

I managed to change my life thanks to Christopher's Reason, the staff allows you to work on yourself. If you're READY to help yourself and recover, then this place can save your life! Staff members such as Steve (RC) John T. (RC) Paulie & Sal (RC's) and Christina & Nicolette (Counselors) have helped me in so many ways and I'll always appreciate the time they spent working with me thru my toughest times.

This was the first treatment center I have ever been too and I could not have been luckier. I walked in broken unsure of myself and slowly have gained back everything I ever had and then some. Forever grateful for the CR family and would highly recommend this facility to anyone or loved one who is struggling with addiction !!

Over the years I have been to many different rehabs and never managed to stay clean until I got to Christopher s reason. This place changed my life and gave me a life worth living. I now have the most clean time I ve ever had.Christopher s reason changed my life and i have achieved so much in 8 months then I did in the past 5 years. It s the only place that ever made me feel like family. It s a clean place, has good food, and the only place that you get to see your counselor every day. If I were to recommend anyone to a treatment center it would be here.

I've been to many places throughout the years that I struggled with addiction. Christophers Reason granted me the tools I need and support from people who I consider family now, to create a better, sober life in recovery. I can never repay the gratitude I feel. If anyone is struggling with addiction, I cannot express the value that this place has brought to my life and I HIGHLY recommend Christopher's Reason!!

Going to Christopher s reason was by far the best decision I made through out my addiction. It was literally life changing. I walked through those doors, broken, hopeless, afraid and embarrassed. I was sicker than I ever felt before, Physically, emotionally and most importantly, spiritually!!! immediately I was surrounded by people who cared. I was never judged and was always told it was going to be okay. To just hold on and trust the process. I did just that and completely turned my life around for the better.Thank you to the CR staff and most of all Ann Marie for giving me a chance to save my life !!!

Amazing facility that is always willing lend a hand to anyone that walks through the door. I had the pleasure of seeing such success and triumph through many clients, who even eventually become co-workers! This program has helped me build my career and has given me such experience in this field. I have met incredible people and seen many lives saved.
