Brought my son into urgent care today for a sports injury. He was seen by Evan Thompson. I can t say enough about how thorough and professional Evan was. He did an excellent job assessing my son and took his time explaining things. Even followed up with me later in the day via telephone call to review test results. Evan is an asset to your department. The medical assistant (Caley I believe) was also very friendly as well as the receptionist Donna. That is a stressful department and you are all doing a wonderful job!

Absolutely horrible here! Do not expect to get any treatment or help from anybody up here. There are NO doctors, everyone is a nurse assistant or PA. They do not care whatsoever. It s a waste of time and joke. There is NO care in healthcare at this place. Stay far away if you re in need of medical treatment.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

teen-program thumbnail image
Teen Program
Teen programs are designed to address the unique pressures teens face, pressures that can drive them to experiment with dangerous, addictive substances. They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.
adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
seniors-program thumbnail image
Seniors Program
Nearly one million adults age 65 and older live with a substance use disorder. Treatment providers who specialize in senior care understand the social, psychological, and physical effects of aging and how they relate to recovery. They can help clients address particular challenges and risks they may face as they get older such as overdosing and medication interactions and dependencies.
hearing-impaired-program thumbnail image
Hearing Impaired Program
A sensory disability, such as hearing impairment, can compound the challenges of addiction recovery. Drug rehabs that are specially designed to accommodate the needs of persons with hearing impairments will include special accessibility features and accommodations to make treatment as comfortable and effective as possible. This may include access to American Sign Language interpreters.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

Experiential therapy is a form of therapy in which clients are encouraged to surface and work through subconscious issues by engaging in real-time experiences. Experiential therapy departs from traditional talk therapy by involving the body, and having clients engage in activities, movements, and physical and emotional expression. This can involve role-play or using props (which can include other people). Experiential therapy can help people process trauma, memories, and emotion quickly, deeply, and in a lasting fashion, leading to substantial and impactful healing.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) is a way of getting nicotine into the bloodstream without smoking. It uses products that supply low doses of nicotine to help people stop smoking. The goal of therapy is to cut down on cravings for nicotine and ease the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal.

Nutrition therapy, aka medical nutrition therapy (MNT), is a way of treating physical, emotional, and medical conditions through diet. Specific dietary plans are designed by professional nutritionists or registered dietitians, and patients follow them in order to positively affect their physical and mental health.

I do not understand why the staff of a medical center is so rude! They should have special care for each patient and an exhaustive revision of the wound, my brother fell from the stands and fractured his ankle, and after a few months we came to have the cast removed, and apa ... Read More

Another time this hospital has let me down. First they diagnosed me with carpal tunnel (quick onset) in both hands, lock me in braces, send me home with opiates. Turns out I have a pinched nerve in my neck, or something along those lines now the spine clinic refused my referral from the ER in Lebanon, decided I need PT first. I went down that route, Therapist said they could do no more it's a pinched nerve. So now what? Well they don't know, got to talk to my PCP, who I have seen 1x in 3years I always see someone else. I'm so discouraged by this hospital.

I have had several overnight stays having joints replaced and can't think of a single problem. The staff, the meals, the attentiveness of everyone involved with my care.... It was very easy to recuperate in that environment. I actually wish there was a way to thank everyone for the wonderful care that I received.

Went here for major head pain, vision impairment, and confusion. Was left in the waiting room for 4 hours before being taken back to sit in the hallway for another hour until I decided to just go to a different hospital. When I told them I was leaving, I found out I had no nurses or doctor even assigned to my care. If you actually need emergency care, do not go here.

I am currently in the ER and have received some of the worst care literally ever they are discharging people and not taking any people back they are performing tests and sending us back to the waiting room even though so many have been discharged they are refusing to speak to me unless they put me in a room to talk to me which they won't because they are saying they only have 1 doctor to handle and entire ER which sounds so not realistic on a Saturday night I am so appalled apauled by the care here it have been horrible care for over 20 years but tonight has to take the cake this is the worst it's ever been they had children here with open head wounds and made them sit here 4 parents left with there children who needed medical care because they were waiting hours and hours this is just such horrible care.

Wouldn't trust any of my loved ones to receive any kind of treatment from this hospital. Unorganized and horrible management as well.

I hope not every ER in America is as slow as this one. There is a cancer patient crying with chest pains in the waiting room who has been waiting for 3 hours for a catscan. Another woman with EKG stickers on her has been waiting 5 hours. I myself also got an EKG and blood work done. I ve been here maybe 2 hours waiting to follow up on a heart condition or potential blood clot. Ya know just a bunch of people with life threatening issues waiting around to die. Btw they did the EKG for me in a room with a receptionist, security guards, nurses, a large lobby and I m taking my shirt off. No room no privacy.

I went to the ER recently due to extremely high blood pressure. My tongue/lips were numb, my speech wasn t the same, felt slow and spacey and nearly fainted on the walk in. I was concerned about a TIA or a stroke rightfully so. After 4 hours, I was never even assigned a doctor and even though they were done, I was told I couldn t be discharged because of that. Nurse Felicia basically told me it was anxiety and that there s no need to come in for a stroke unless half your body goes numb

horrible staff, been waiting 7 hours, multiple workers standing on their phones taking snapchats, only one nurse was able to be somewhat helpful and she even admitted to workers just not working.
