This place is completely sickening. They sex traffic some of the females. The staff is not a staff there are no doctors. It makes me sick this place still exists. The staff care nothing about the men and the women are prey to them. It wouldn’t be a business without them. The owner is a scumbag. They use the females for sex. Please do not send your loved ones here please do research on where you are sending someone in such a difficult time in their lives. People use this place as a cover up to show the courts they went to rehab. It is a SCAM. Please shut this place down. It is someones life they are playing with. They just want your money or your body that is it.

Don t go here! No therapists, unprofessional (except for Janeane who is awesome), and there s a major problem with inappropriate physical relationships at this place. Including the staff trying to get with the members. Yuck! Everyone walks around unsupervised so don t send your husband or wife here. And if you get in an argument w your partner they will make it their business and get in the middle of it and lie to you about where they are. They ll isolate your loved one from you. Haven t spoken to mine in 3 weeks bc they re encouraging it. Enabling his avoidant behavior and making me the enemy isn t a good way to keep people sober in my opinion. They ll tell you they ll treat you like family up there but they ll gang up on you as soon as you have a concern bc they re all victims in there. If you re not an addict or not the one paying their bills then you re the enemy. The staff and members will curse at you and hang up on you if you try to speak to your loved one. No dirext answers on how he s doing. Just redirected and postponed calls for 3 weeks. This place sucks! They don t even provide medical detox for opiates they gave him a few ativans and trazedone and wished him luck basically. My poor guy was sick for like 2 weeks and said this place sucks, but he s still there. Hope it works but Don t go here. This place is a CULT, not a medical facility. I don t think there s even one licensed or qualified therapist or doctor up there. It s sad and GROSS how they treat you.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements. Linden Oaks' Residential Stay Program offers additional support for those who may benefit from a structured living environment. A patient's stay may vary from a few days to 30 days ago. The program includes group, family and individual counseling.
12-step icon12-Step
Persons engaged in a 12 step program regularly attend group meetings in their communities, though online sessions are becoming increasingly popular. 12 step recovery is rooted in spiritual principles that enable participants to address the root causes of addiction and to foster self-awareness, compassion, acceptance, and accountability. Peer sponsors support participants as they work through the steps of recovery. Most programs are non-denominational, but specialized formats, including the faith-based Celebrate Recovery! format, are available.
sober-living iconSober Living Homes
Sober Living Houses (SLHs), aka sober homes or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from substance abuse. Ideal for those who've just been through inpatient or outpatient treatment, SLHs are supervised environments with rules that support sobriety, such as curfews, shared chores, and therapeutic meetings. Residents are also often trained on life skills and coping skills to make it easier to transition into society. SLHs also provide a strong sense of community that can lead to the kind of deep and lasting connections with other sober individuals that supports a new, healthy lifestyle.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy participants in South Carolina learn practical conflict resolution skills they can practice within the group. These skills are essential for improving your relationships and reducing stress outside rehabilitation. Both of these factors are crucial to help maintain your recovery.

The goal of all family therapy sessions is to support their loved one's recovery effectively by learning new and healthy communication skills as well as ways of managing stress and resolving conflicts. This helps improve interactions and addresses underlying issues within the family that often influence recovery.

Men and women in South Carolina undergoing individual therapy work closely with their therapist to address the personal challenges and lifestyle changes that can help address addiction triggers. You have a unique situation and your therapist will spend time helping you develop healthy coping strategies so you can work toward achieving and maintaining sobriety.

Charleston Recovery Center was a totally different journey compared to treatment centers I had gone to in South Florida. It s a comfortable, family feel that gives you the time, space, and peace to heal. I was able to get to the root of my disease and build a fellowship of amazing people that are so important to me!

This time last year, I was feeling completely hopeless and desperate. I saw no way out of the vicious cycle of my life as an alcoholic and opiate addict. I didn t think it was possible to change the way I was living. I truly believed, and sometimes wished, I would die this way. And, then what I now see as God doing for me what I could not do for myself, I accepted a life-changing opportunity and entered the 90-day residential recovery program at Charleston Recovery Center. Upon completing the 12-step spiritual program, my life started to change for the better. The peer-on-peer environment helped me navigate through the challenges of addiction and discover a path to lasting recovery. The combination of community and spirituality empowered me to overcome obstacles and embrace a fulfilling life in sobriety. Today, I have Hope. I get to be happy, joyous, and free feelings I once did not think were possible. I will be forever grateful for my experience at Charleston Recovery Center.

The Charleston Recovery Center ( The Hope ) saved my life. I came to the program as a broken-down, aging, desperate and defeated alcoholic. Open arms, immediate attention to my comfort, a welcome ceremony like no other - made me keenly aware of being placed in the midst of something very special. It wasn t long before I concluded that the key to the program is its peer-to-peer model; everyone, from new residents to seasoned staff, is a product of The Hope. Members of the community work one-on-one, helping each other take the 12 steps of recovery. Shared experiences and a common problem with a common solution inform deep confessional conversations in a safe, protected space. Miraculous changes emerge. Folks become bright-eyed, more energetic, more engaging and extroverted- funnier! Unlikely friendships blossom. Group meetings erupt in belly laughs over the absurdities of the past. In my two years of association with The Hope, I ve witnessed the miracle in case after case. It produces a high unmatched by any mind altering substance.

I have been attempting to get clean for 23 years of my 32 year addiction to substances. This place provided a safe space for me to find myself and attain the peace I deserved to handle life on life terms successfully. I highly recommend "The Hope" aka CRC to anyone who wants a better life for themselves and is ready to make the commitment to change the trajectory of their lives for the better. You will not regret it!

Charleston recovery center changed my life. I've been in the grips of my drug addiction for 20 years and entered into countless rehabs and detox centers. The Hope gave me what I had always been missing, a relationship with my higher power and the fellowship of real friends that I can share life with.

My time at Charleston Recovery Center, fondly known as The HOPE, defies description, yet I ll endeavor to convey the profound impact of this remarkable program. The staff s dedication is unparalleled; during the throes of addiction, envisioning a life of sobriety seemed insurmountable. However, through the compassionate guidance of the Charleston Recovery Center team, I ve gained invaluable self-awareness. Witnessing peer-to-peer recovery firsthand has illuminated countless paths to sober living. The program s emphasis on the 12-step recovery model, enriched by the collective wisdom and resilience of fellow individuals battling addiction, has been transformative. The bonds forged here are indelible, and the lessons learned will endure a lifetime. Armed with the tools to navigate each day with purpose, I m empowered to confront my addiction head-on. Charleston Recovery Center isn t just a place; it s a sanctuary of hope and healing, brimming with an energy that s truly palpable. I implore anyone seeking solace and renewal to explore this haven it s a decision that could change your life. My profound gratitude knows no bounds; to this program and its extraordinary community, I owe my deepest thanks and admiration.

This place should be shut down. They care nothing about you and take your money if you are a male. If you are a female you have to do certain things for them to let you in their sick cult. What I witnessed here was really corrupt. I wouldn t wish this disgusting sick place on anybody. They seriously should have inspections or something in place to prevent places like this. After all it s somebody s life they are playing with. This is such a terrible corrupt place.

Just called trying to locate someone. Asked if it was a court mandated half way house. The lady who did not give her name said, can I call you right back instead of answering my question. Just based on that 10second interaction I can 100% tell you that if you suffer from addiction this place is NOT the place for you. Most unprofessional 10sec interaction ever on the phone. after I said don t call me back she again did not pay attention or care about what I had to say because she called me back. Incredibly unattentive.
