outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

aftercare iconAftercare Support

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

inpatient-file iconCognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

couples-therapy iconCouples Therapy

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

dialectical iconDialectical Behavior Therapy

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

family iconFamily Therapy

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

intervention iconGroup Therapy

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

mental-health iconIndividual Therapy

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

nicotine iconNicotine Replacement Therapy

Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) is a way of getting nicotine into the bloodstream without smoking. It uses products that supply low doses of nicotine to help people stop smoking. The goal of therapy is to cut down on cravings for nicotine and ease the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal.

The Receptionist Kim is fantastic !!Other than that It's a nothing burger place. They will milk Medicaid or your wallet to death !!No real help !!Just like they're there for a pay check !! Which is obvious after a while especially when trying to get help !!What a Joke !!Bad Management is probably the biggest problem !!If you can go else where - you should go somewhere else somewhere that's at least professional !!

Billed Medicaid for over 14 months, though I wasn't in any treatment. Saw psychiatrist/psychologist for about 3 appointments, saw counselor twice during those 14+ months. Took 5 separate tries to get my own records (evaluation and recommendation) from staff, several months later, after their repeated refusal to let me see and have them unless I first spoke with the counselor I hadn't seen for over a year. Just 2 weeks after I got my records and realized all the errors it contained (claiming I lived in one country, though it was another, stating I'm on parole, which I wasn't, from family info, to work and more, all errors!), I asked the counselor, Jeff, to please tell me how we could fix or redo the evaluation and recommendation, he was suddenly fired! I had challenges with testing, I finally picked someone there to try to speak with, as I literally had not a single person there that I was appointed who I could speak with during more than a year there, the lady just sat there and heard me beg for some help, but didn't speak or do a single thing. They won't tell anyone why the counselor was suddenly fired, even upon multiple requests made, the whole place and staff refused to inform me how and to what affect Myself and my "treatment" there was, had been and is affected. When I asked Jeff, the counselor, just 2 weeks before his firing and total dissapearance, how he had spoken with my PO, how it was possible that a year later of my "treatment" starting there, my PO was able to override the recommendation this center had made and make them put me in MRT classes, out of the blue. Which is unlawful and should not have been possible that someone can make a trained and certified medical professional person, of any treatment center, do what they desire to be a result, conclusion and recommendation as treatment of anyone.! When I last spoke and asked Jeff, the now fired and not spoken about counselor of this CUCC how it was possible or legal for doctors to fill out whatever a PO wanted in my situation, he simply stated: "sometimes the tail wags the dog" (!!) This place committed Medicaid fraud, violated numerous laws aswell as patient rights, stayed silent when begging for the help they were billing me for, refused to inform me of records, rights, kept silent on any questions asked and tried wiping out and patching records in all efforts, while keeping the victims in the dark, caring solely of their own hides.
