Heart icon Treatment

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

Drug rehab in New Jersey is the process of addressing the complex issues involved with addiction. Challenges are identified and addressed through individual and group counseling. Participants learn how to manage these issues without the use of substances.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

substance-abuse iconSubstance Abuse

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

family iconFamily Therapy

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Terrible phone operator. Gave me such attitude over a simple question, huffed and puffed because she had to ask someone else a question for me. Turned me off from even going there. I'd recommend hiring someone with some more compassion especially in this field.

My doctor left this business unfortunately. They gave me a new doctor Lisa Abrams, she was so rude and unprofessional. She cut me off so many times during our zoom meeting, said the word whatever when I would tell her that she keeps cutting me off. Within the first 5 mins of speaking she told me she does not write for narcotics (1 mg Clonazepam) and I have to switch to one of 3 medications 1 of which I am allergic to. This person knew nothing about me or what I ve been through in my life but assumes she knows it all. She didn t even bother to start the conversation with how are you or how are you feeling. She misunderstood everything I was telling her and when I corrected her on it she would say WHATEVER. She should not be in this line of work
