Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Professional services are often necessary to recover from addiction. Drug rehab in Colorado provides the expert services needed to address the complex issues of addiction and help individuals start their recovery journey.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image
LGBTQ Program
Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.
military-program thumbnail image
Military Program
Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a clinical approach to helping people with substance abuse issues and other conditions shift behavior in positive ways. It is more goal-oriented than traditional psychotherapy, as MI counselors directly attempt to get clients to consider making behavioral change (rather than wait for them to come to conclusions themselves). Its primary purpose is to resolve ambivalence and help clients become able to make healthy choices freely.

Rational Behavior Therapy (RBT) is a form of cognitive behavioral therapy meant to be short-term and comprehensive. It was intended to help clients become more self-sufficent and move forward without the need for expensive, ongoing therapy. It includes an emotional self-help method called “rational self-counseling,” the purpose of which is to give clients all the skills needed to handle future emotional issues by themselves, or with significantly less professional help.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

First off, GOD BLESS all the folks at Center for Change.Miss Kaye, especially. You see Kaye, didn't call the police or any judge or D.A., and tell them to go get Richard Davis, arrest him and charge him with Domestic Violence so she can GET MY MONEY.. I will be the first to tell anyone, Miss Kaye shoots from the hip and will let you know her beliefs and experiences, and is truly Genuine. In her desire to help individuals overcome shortcomings and set backs.. I RELLY DIDN'T..care for Kaye in the beginning, because I thought I was not at fault, I thought I was Entitled, I felt because I've never put hand on my Queen, and we still live together, I felt I had NO BUSINESS in her groups, she only wanted my money, she didn't know about ME.. She don't care about us!!!My own terrible mindset and thinking process, was SO FUKED up...When I opened my mind and was willing to take directions and actually use my learning in my daily life.. I can tell you Kaye has given me more insight about myself through her teaching, causing positivity and calmness to enter my body and ways of life.. My family and I, are beyond THANKFUL for Kaye. everyday!! My wife, my family, my wife's family and MYSELF more then any is Grateful and feel BLESSED to have chosen center for Change to complete my requirements for my situation. I wanted to leave Kaye after about 1 month, I was done with Kaye and that damm Wednesday morning group!!!!God had another plan for Richard and said you buckle up boy and stay with Kaye. It's not about money for me, it's about being involved in a positive group of men, that Kaye has turned into a tight group of Men, I can tell you in 56 years of life and my littered background and history, therapy and institutions, County's Jails, Prisons, group after group..Kaye stay's on my Mount Rushmore of top 4 therapist I've ever Been blessed to work with..I'm not done, I'm not typing this on a Sunday morning to get brownie points.. I'm posting this 5 star review because there wasn't 10 stars to choose..Top notch people, Miss KayeI'm grateful to you each and every day. I feel blessed that God put you in my life and I'm not sur I ever want to be done with Kaye...Thanks for everything

I left this place in August 2023. They don't return phone calls. Charge late fees for the classes missed that the phone call had everything to do with. If you criticize Kaye she gets very nasty and threatens that "she" will have you back in court for non-compliance, which is the probation officers call. Phone calls are your word against hers, so I would suggest email for the paper trail, but expect the bare minimum in word count on those replies if you're lucky to get them. If you CC your probation officer she will reply leaving them out intentionally, so then you have to fwd those as well to your PO. The review score seems to jive with the true overall performance, I'm glad a few were able to get a good experience for their time but most haven't.

Horrible, horrible customer service! The main girl who answers the phone has hung up on me twice, ignored my emails, and told me in order to accept me she needs to talk to my probation officer BUT she still wanted me to attend and pay for the classes and wanted me to pay for the intake when she DIDNT EVEN KNOW IF I COULD BE ACCEPTED. My case is out of Colorado and I travel between Colorado and Oklahoma for work but she said to fill out the intake paperwork anyway. I had a balance of over $160 including the intake because she said she did a lot of work. WHAT WORK??? ALL SHE HAD ME DO WAS SIGN THE PAPERS, SO I BASICALLY DID ALL THE WORK. Not one penny is going to this agency and I told her to discharge me (even though I WASNT FULLY ACCEPTED YET) and she discharged me which I would have taken legal action if she didn't due to that balance. There are better places out there people. This place is a scam.

If you were looking for rehabilitation and lending hear someone to steer you in the right direction, look no further, the staff are above reproach Accepting and kind. There is no judgment I am a more complete individual after having taken the course and did the work. Positive progressive movement forward and consistency in an open mind or all things each staff member possesses, and will guide you as well. To Miss K thank you. I highly suggest you all take the first step in freeing yourself from what trouble you would mind you apply and U2 can see the changes in your life & relationships. Highly recommend 10 out of 10.

I have had 3 different instructors over the 36 classes of this journey of learning, acceptance and growth. I believe in the curriculum presented by Center for Change. I have nothing but respect for the authenticity that Ms. K brings to each and every class. She is firm, knowledgeable and has shown me nothing but understanding as I try to rebuild my life. I appreciate her honesty and the advice she has given to me throughout the last year. I am a better man. Thank you Ms. K!

If I could give negative stars I would. There s something very wrong with this business and something DEFINITELY wrong with Kaye. She is stealing from people who are here to get help. She s very very rude and unprofessional. She needs to be investigated immediately. DO NOT GO HERE!

Response from the owner1 year ago
Unfortunately, we do have to charge for treatment.
