Been going here a long time. I had my weekly takehome then lost it because I had trouble with the state losing my THC paperwork, so I lost my take-homes for about 1 month. Finally got MM card back, asked for monthly because of all the problems but it didn't go through because they said I was just going up on my take homes... they were trying to push one month of take home before that, but then I decided I want 2 weeks worth and they give me a bunch of BS. I am old and things are getting harder all the time all they do is keep getting me upset I do everything I am suppose to do but never seems like enough. I am stuck on this for the rest of my life because im to old to go through withdrawals so it's liquid handcuffs for rest of my life.. I wish I never heard of this kind of program. The government says it's okay to be on MMT, or anything because of alternative motives, so you better watch out. It would be much kinder to put me out of my misery but then they would not be able to continue with making money with my misery because they need that mighty dollar. September now and my health is going down hill but don't matter to them I asked again for monthly because it is getting hard to get there do they care NO they don't . I have not had any dirty UAs following the rules but don't matter I felt better when I was in prison at least I didn't have any worries in there my advice if you are young don't get on methadone I was better off with other drugs but now they have me answering your response I have contacted my conserler and don't do any good when I talk to any of the staff except Jill you all just get me very upset I got treated better with my drug dealers than I get treated there but I have no choice because I can't get off the methadone you have me trapped

Accepted Insurance

Cedar Rapids Comprehensive Treatment Center works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Iowa is available in many formats. A variety of inpatient and outpatient options provide programs that are tailored to individual needs, making recovery possible for everyone.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Counselors are the same people who worry about you attending your appointments and having your medications. They are very good people.

This clinic has helped to save my life. With their help, I have been clean for 3 years and 5 months. I owe a, "thank you" to everyone involved. First of all, thanks to my amazing counselor. He keeps in touch frequently. He makes me feel great about my recovery and shows interest in my life choices. Thanks to the group that I attend by phone every Monday, which is ran by an awesome, no nonsense, counselor. Thanks to the wonderful staff members who greet me every morning with a smile. Thanks to the dosing nurses, who are very friendly and caring. You may have to wait in line some days to get your dose, but as an addict, I've waited a lot longer for relief. Finally, thanks to the insurance company. If you have state insurance, you may qualify to get free cab rides to the clinic and back home every day, which I am absolutely thankful for, since I live 40 miles away. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who is struggling with addiction and is ready to get help. With the right choices, we can recover, one day at a time.

I have been here for almost 7 years and as far as counselors being there for patients, I would give them a 5 out of five stars. Besides a few hiccups every now and then. There only human, like we are. They don't have the answer to everything but they are on a learning process as much as we are. I have been up and down with this treatment facility and for the most part, I feel they have done an excellent job. If it wasn'for there compassion and due diligence I would be dead. So with that note I feel you would continutobreath and luve a half way normal life with the help of these folks.
