check iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient-file iconCognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

dialectical iconDialectical Behavior Therapy

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

intervention iconGroup Therapy

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

mental-health iconIndividual Therapy

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

house-medical iconTrauma Therapy

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

couples-therapy iconCouples Therapy

Couples therapy can help a couple navigate their differences. By learning powerful interpersonal skills in therapy, the couple can work together to overcome challenges and change the direction of their relationship.

family iconFamily Therapy

One goal of family therapy is to provide a platform where members have a safe place to talk about the challenges that addiction has created in their lives. Using guided sessions, therapists help individual family members develop healthy communication skills and address unresolved issues between themselves to support their loved one's sobriety.

Im disabled and struggling with no family or friends...I've literally been begging for help for weeks and not 1 person has messaged me or called me bk. They really don't care about everyone. Don't waste your time if u are a single disabled white male with no kids. Cuz Jesus discriminated and picked ppl he liked and only spoke and helped the chosen 1s. Must be a part of the Bible I haven't heard of yet. Thank u again catholic charities for all the love and support u guys give

Catholic charities used to be pretty good to my family. If we called they would make sure they messaged you back in decent time. Over the past couple of years it has become difficult to get a call back or an email. I am disappointed on how the handle their business now a days.

Mother Teresa haven was built to be housing for families, but they gave the middle building for people who just got released from prison without an address to parole to. There is constant violence here, and drug activity. The smell of fentanyl is so bad you have to hold your breath when you go outside. Despite being recently built, the complex is full of mold and cockroaches and management is hardly there, and when they are they lock their doors and intentionally ignore us. They don't enforce any of the rules put into place. This complex is a glorified trap house. Catholic charities receives funding to "help" people, but they pocket it and leave us living un horrible, unsafe conditions. This "charity " needs to be held accountable and stop letting drug dealers live here and destroy families.

I was looking for vet services & donations for low income & homeless services at DHH. When I previously looked up DHH Vet services, the site mentioned Catholic Charities, so I went inside. The receptionist let me know that DHH is no longer there, but I could leave my donations. Which I did.

This companies caregiving services suck. I have been a client of this Company for over a year. Any time my caregiver calls out I'm put on the back burner like I don't matter!!! I'm about ready to fire this company and find a more caring company!!!!!
