outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

12-step icon12-Step

12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).

aftercare iconAftercare Support

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Heart icon Treatment

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

Drug rehab in Maine is the process of helping someone learn how to live without the use of substances. Professional staff provide treatment to address the various issues of addiction. Methods often involve medication, counseling, and evidence-based therapies.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

family iconFamily Therapy

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

intervention iconGroup Therapy

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

life-skills iconLife Skills

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

desert iconMotivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a clinical approach to helping people with substance abuse issues and other conditions shift behavior in positive ways. It is more goal-oriented than traditional psychotherapy, as MI counselors directly attempt to get clients to consider making behavioral change (rather than wait for them to come to conclusions themselves). Its primary purpose is to resolve ambivalence and help clients become able to make healthy choices freely.

Don't think for ONE SECOND that you're going to help the day you call, you won't. Getting into a state sanctioned program takes time and there are hoops to go through, for a reason. They give you an appointment to come back and they make sure that you have NO open scripts for opiates, paperwork, paperwork, see a doctor, see a nurse, see a counselor, and this is all at 6am. You may be going through withdrawals by the time you dose, around 1pm. YOU WILL NOT GET HELP THE DAY YOU CALL!!!!! Don't think you will. If you need help NOW, go to the hospital or try Kratom. Cap is awesome but you have to put your recovery ahead of the people and the counselors. Not gonna sugar coat this subject at all.

So I've been guest dosing @ CAP Quality Care for over 4 years. Never a problem with front desk staff allways warm & receptive. Dosing Nurses some of the best around! Kind, Caring, Professional, ! Never had a problem there. There's one employee Angie she's the head nurse.. She's the most vindictive person I eva met. I had aminor blow out with her during a guest dose request during covid. All States clear travel . So I went to visit my ailing Mother of course. I put in my request 4 weeks early though only required to due 2 weeks as a courtesy. Angie waits till 4 days before my departure date & tries to deny me over some crock of pharamacy issues. When I know personally they put there order in for wknd on Thursday weekly. She said there was an issue well my clinic came back @ her with listen u had ample time to notify of a discrepancy! You wait to 4 days. Needless to say I was granted those dates. Now over 2 years lata she been layely in the grass like a snake waiting to bounce. I tried sch8 president day wk d went through on my clinic end. Then this monday the 6th Angie denies me the only difference in any paperwork or dates or time staying was a 5 mg increase. Thats all she needed to put the nail in my coffin. She use the same excuse as last time. The pharmacy a independent. So she hides behind the guise of she has no control. Over independent pharmacy.

I am absolutely furious with how I am being treated, or the lack of treatment should I say, I have been trying to get in touch with someone from the facility to see if I can possibly get some help.. with absolutely NO return phone calls after 3 weeks of calling on a daily basis. Every morning. I have left countless voice messages on someone's voice-mail and there is just no chance for help. This facility is by far the worst at trying to get help. If you need help DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT CALL THEM BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU!!!
