ACTUAL TOOLS I CAN PULL OUT AND USE WHEN TRIGGERED. i have been promised this several times but never have i ever actually been given actual coping skills. the lady who teaches DBT is a god send... her classes are powerful and she gives clients things to practice that for me have actually work. my therapist has pulled things out of me that i never thought i had the strength to share with another human which lead to an ultimate surrender and peace i have never known. the case managers are rock solid and make me feel seen heard and cared for. Banyon was the last house on the block for me.... I had burned everything down and expected to get clean and sober the same way i had tried 20 previous times but the staff and the group of men and women that were there with me literally saved my life. i HIGHLY recommend this treatment center. im writing this review with hopes that someone who has never been to treatment before will see this and let Banyon palm springs be there first and last... i Pray you dont have to do this as many times as i have had to do or burn everything down like i have. please give these people and honest shot cause they care and are the best i have ever seen in this field. If they can help me....a hope to die junkie/drunk... then they can help anybody (if you just follow and trust what they tell you)thank you Banyon.... you have given me the tools to be happy no matter what life throws my way

I want to thank my nurse Athena, as well as the 3 other nurses that were assigned to me! Please forgive me, I'm terrible with names but great with faces! Please give all 4 of them my good graces. They each treated me with the upmost respect, patience, and non judgement. Incredibly caring and gentle, and made sure to let me know how valuable my life is. I would definitely recommend kaweah to a family member or friend who was experiencing a crisis. they take great care of you here. This is a temporary place where they hold you and make sure ur safe until you get the resources u need to have continued care outside. That's the job of a psych hospital when you get put on an involuntary hold (I read past reviews). And as for all the other nurses on my unit, I say the exact same about them. Great employees. 5 stars

We live in a country that takes care of it's veterans and, yes, there are some miscues, I've made a few myself, but I am still very thankful and the staff and doctors have given me the care I have needed. There are options, you can always go wait at a non-VA Dr. and wait there and pay for it out of your pocket. I've used my Tri-Care with some success but in the end I prefer my VA, both in Tulare and Fresno.

I'm Jacob T and I was a patient that just got out today. I want to thank my nurse Athena, as well as the 3 other nurses that were assigned to me!
