My experience at the north Hollywood facility was amazing! Of course when you are coming to detox , you are not in the best mood , but I returned twice after leaving and relapsing and when arrived I was greeted with smiles and support. The staff tended to my needs and provided me with wisdom to help be successful in recovery. The ppl who you meet here will change your life and some will even feel like a part of your family . I don't usually go to meetings but have been sober for 6 years. But I always have respect for the good meetings, and this one is one of the best. Floyd is awesome. I don't speak, but my best friend used to go here when he lived here and id come to support. Good place for suy. Might find myself,by myself going since I deal with chronic pain and have been on meds for a long time and the docs think I just need to deal, which isn't possible,so I have been struggling with not finding another way to self medicated. I don't use or drink except for what is prescribed for management, but since the taper I am losing my life to be able to do the things I love. Very difficult time.
