I came here and was so surprised by what the program entailed. They taught me so many tools to help with my addiction and other things in my life. I honestly feel like I have a whole different mindset about life. It made me excited for the future. The staff there is AMAZING. All the counselors and trainees were super cool and helpful! Katie who teaches the class is very passionate about her work and really cares about your success to be a better person. The free time to bond with the other clients was amazing. You really make friends there! I would recommend this place to anyone.

I personally had a good experience at Sierra Recovery Center. I got along ok with other patients and the counselors were fantastic. I was advised I should stay longer but I had my young son at my mother's . I was give a dual diagnosis a the end of my stay of addiction and PTSD. I have tried to live my life like a normal person but due to my all my problems I have had a really hard time. I wish now that is of listened to the counselors who seemed to be reaching out to me but I didn't want to be a burden to anyone . These choices would have devestating g impact on my life . I won't go into all the details I no how valuable your time must be.

i have been to several other treatment centers and also worked for a few as a tech and supervisor... when i came here i expected the same thing but was shocked to learn of things i have never heard of that actually helped me to stay sober. ACTUAL TOOLS I CAN PULL OUT AND USE WHEN TRIGGERED. i have been promised this several times but never have i ever actually been given actual coping skills. the lady who teaches DBT is a god send... her classes are powerful and she gives clients things to practice that for me have actually work. my therapist has pulled things out of me that i never thought i had the strength to share with another human which lead to an ultimate surrender and peace i have never known. the case managers are rock solid and make me feel seen heard and cared for. Banyon was the last house on the block for me.... I had burned everything down and expected to get clean and sober the same way i had tried 20 previous times but the staff and the group of men and women that were there with me literally saved my life. i HIGHLY recommend this treatment center. im writing this review with hopes that someone who has never been to treatment before will see this and let Banyon palm springs be there first and last... i Pray you dont have to do this as many times as i have had to do or burn everything down like i have. please give these people and honest shot cause they care and are the best i have ever seen in this field. If they can help me....a hope to die junkie/drunk... then they can help anybody (if you just follow and trust what they tell you)thank you Banyon.... you have given me the tools to be happy no matter what life throws my way

Never lose hope that you can change your life and recover from abuse beyond your comprehension. You can save your life by yourself if you have to. People only have power over you if you let them have it. Believe actions, not words. Master the masculine in yourself if you are a woman. Nurture the feminine in yourself if you are a man. Jealousy and thinking you re not good enough does not serve your highest good. You can come back from the worst things imaginable. I was going to bring her some flowers to show that I m okay because she helped save my life. In a strange twist of fate my cat was sick and no one listened, but when I went to AEC on S. This place is life changing. The staff truly care about you and many great friendships are made here. Their kitchen is stocked with great snacks, they provide lots of outside activities to practice sobriety in the real world, the clinical sessions are well thought out, the onsight AA/NA meetings are led by awesome people, and the counsellors/ house staff have so many resources to offer. They'll guide your reentry to the world after incarceration and cooperate with many court programs. The rooms have new smart TVs and mini fridges. They provide you as much clothing as you need and toiletries. All around great place run by great people.
