i have been to several other treatment centers and also worked for a few as a tech and supervisor... when i came here i expected the same thing but was shocked to learn of things i have never heard of that actually helped me to stay sober. ACTUAL TOOLS I CAN PULL OUT AND USE WHEN TRIGGERED. i have been promised this several times but never have i ever actually been given actual coping skills. the lady who teaches DBT is a god send... her classes are powerful and she gives clients things to practice that for me have actually work. my therapist has pulled things out of me that i never thought i had the strength to share with another human which lead to an ultimate surrender and peace i have never known. the case managers are rock solid and make me feel seen heard and cared for. Banyon was the last house on the block for me.... I had burned everything down and expected to get clean and sober the same way i had tried 20 previous times but the staff and the group of men and women that were there with me literally saved my life. i HIGHLY recommend this treatment center. im writing this review with hopes that someone who has never been to treatment before will see this and let Banyon palm springs be there first and last... i Pray you dont have to do this as many times as i have had to do or burn everything down like i have. please give these people and honest shot cause they care and are the best i have ever seen in this field. If they can help me....a hope to die junkie/drunk... then they can help anybody (if you just follow and trust what they tell you)thank you Banyon.... you have given me the tools to be happy no matter what life throws my way

My personal experience at new start in concord is was phenomenal. I spent 31 days in the residential program including detox and all around had such a great experience that it was difficult to leave. To start, the medical staff while I was in detox took care of all of my needs. The med techs, nurse practitioners and doctors made sure that I had a comfortable experience while going through the scary process of withdrawing. Not once did I run out of medication and they always made me feel like they cared for my wellbeing and safety. While in residential, the counselors, group facilitators, therapists, and case managers were amazing! Each and every one of them. They had so much knowledge, experience and education, and I learned so much. My personal therapist, Mellisa was absolutely wonderful, and she helped me dig deep and figure out the root causes of my issues that were tied to my past traumas. The family sessions were also extremely helpful. Moving onto the assistant Director and head Director, who both truly cared about the program, the clients, and their staff. It was evident in how the program ran like a perfect machine. They also took us on fun outings, like bowling and going to the beach. The facility was comfortable, clean and well organized. We have full-time staff that keep each bedroom and area of the buildings clean and provided the clients with all of our basic needs. I want to give a shout out to Ofi who was like everyone s mom. We had some awesome amenities too like a gym, A game room, and an outside movie theater with a fire pit. I will truly miss my time at New Start in Concord, and will forever be grateful for this experience. Thank you :)

BACS Townhouse is truly a Godsend. My wife and I were homeless as of August 2022. The Staff was nothing short of sweet and pleasant. The only drawback, is occasionally we would get some nut jobs in there that would get a little violent because they re having a mental episode. As a matter of fact, I almost got into a fight with a couple of them. If you re really serious about your business, and getting out of homelessness, this is the place for you. And my wife and I had a laser focus. Another advantage we had was the fact that we own a vehicle that we slept in while we were homeless. BACS hooked us up with a special kind of homeless shelter, that allowed us to park our car in the special kind of parking lot on 8th Street in West Oakland. There they would provide a table full of plastic bags full of survival food. Like potted meat, Vienna, sausage, and all sorts of assortment of chips. It was really a great set up. During the night they provided a porta potty at a place to wash your hands after you use it. Once a week, a truck would come in to the lot and provide both free showers and laundry world is a homeless people in the lot. They even provided service for your car in some cases. By September 2022, we were blessed to be hooked up with Holland house on W. Grand Ave. in West Oakland. And that magical day finally came in January 1, 2023 when we would move into our new apartment. And we ve been here ever since. I think got a boat for Bay Area community services, where I write this review from our beautiful little apartment here in Oakland.

I rated Villa 5 stars because this was the only place I was able to be comfortable. They had a daily schedule of different things to do. During your stay you can have visitors and after the 72 hr hold give you passes to leave the campus for an hour or so. The staff was great and the patients were also welcoming.
