My experience at the north Hollywood facility was amazing! Of course when you are coming to detox , you are not in the best mood , but I returned twice after leaving and relapsing and when arrived I was greeted with smiles and support. The staff tended to my needs and provided me with wisdom to help be successful in recovery. The ppl who you meet here will change your life and some will even feel like a part of your family . The staff really does care about you! All you have to do is take the first step and ask for help. I love the program and they're very good at teaching DBT. The clients in the group are just amazing people. I would have given them 5 stars but I was discharged from the program unfairly. I honestly felt like it was patient abandonment. There was a hassle about my service dog and 4 months later I was kicked out of the program under a selective criteria that wasn't consistent with the standards/client discharge with respect to the rest of the clients. It was very subjective and selective to say the least. I miss the people so much and I really needed the continued help. I was not referred to anywhere else or given a transition period. Other than this they seemed very professional.
