Coming to The Betty Ford Center was the best decision I ever made in my life. I would recommend anyone who is struggling with addiction and is seeking help towards recovery. It s been a life changing experience for me and I have no regrets coming here
It was a great experience! The only thing is I can t get in touch with the physician that was handling my case . I can t remember his full name but he goes by dr. Alex . Would like to get his email. I would like to ask him a question about the medication he prescribed me.Thank you ! Could you get back to me with and answer. That s at the Rancho Mirage facility .

I went to DVR about a year ago and found that they actually care and work on the needs you are looking to work on. My sobriety has come so much further thanks to DVR. Ms.Chris really was the best therapist.

Congrats on your sobriety! We greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
I went to Kiloby for 6 months. the work they do at the center is very rewarding and changed my life. With that being said, it is a smaller treatment center with a small number of staff which results in a disorganized feeling to the program and a LOT of repeat groups which got very boring. Plus a lot of time is spent sitting around doing 'self support' because they don't have enough staff to run groups and do one on one sessions at the same time. And don't be fooled when you hear them say this is not a 12 step program; 12 step meetings are MANDATORY. and one last thing: I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SOBER LIVING... unless you like sleeping in very cheap bunk beds and tight quarters with upwards of 8-9 people at a time. I am not saying I don't think this is a good program, because it is and I got a lot out of it but I think there is a lot of room for improvement from Kiloby. Give it a try if you want to try something different that really gets to the core of your issues.Update, 5 years later: After re-reading my review, and the reviews of others who have left a rating, I truly think The Kiloby Center deserves at least a 4-4.5 Star rating. On reflection, the work I did here changed my life more than any of the other programs I've been to. The comments I made about the sober living seem so trivial now.. I can honestly say, for a smaller treatment center, Kiloby did their best and still managed to make a bigger impact on my life than any other 'rehab'/program. I can't say thank you enough. this place gave me an entirely new point of view.

Thank you for your comments, Dylan. We are happy you believe the Kiloby Center changed your life. To address a couple of your comments, we do require self-support time to prepare clients to head back into their lives with the tool of our groundbreaking work. Our staff to client ratio is actually much higher than most centers and we provide three private sessions per week for full time clients, something that almost no other center provides. We are sorry you did not find out sober living accommodations to your liking and will look into your concerns. Thank you again and we wish you the best!
