My experience at the north Hollywood facility was amazing! Of course when you are coming to detox , you are not in the best mood , but I returned twice after leaving and relapsing and when arrived I was greeted with smiles and support. The staff tended to my needs and provided me with wisdom to help be successful in recovery. The ppl who you meet here will change your life and some will even feel like a part of your family . The staff really does care about you! All you have to do is take the first step and ask for help. The Cardiovascular Health Institute managed everything so there were no worries or issues. Turning Point helped me out in a big way. It was February, it was raining and cold. I was staring at a six-week waiting list to get into residential SUD treatment and being on the streets. Turning Point gave me shelter, food, counseling, my medication and a phone to use to call the rehab every day and move up the waiting list. They kept me until I got in to Pathfinders.
