ACTUAL TOOLS I CAN PULL OUT AND USE WHEN TRIGGERED. i have been promised this several times but never have i ever actually been given actual coping skills. the lady who teaches DBT is a god send... her classes are powerful and she gives clients things to practice that for me have actually work. my therapist has pulled things out of me that i never thought i had the strength to share with another human which lead to an ultimate surrender and peace i have never known. the case managers are rock solid and make me feel seen heard and cared for. Banyon was the last house on the block for me.... I had burned everything down and expected to get clean and sober the same way i had tried 20 previous times but the staff and the group of men and women that were there with me literally saved my life. i HIGHLY recommend this treatment center. im writing this review with hopes that someone who has never been to treatment before will see this and let Banyon palm springs be there first and last... i Pray you dont have to do this as many times as i have had to do or burn everything down like i have. please give these people and honest shot cause they care and are the best i have ever seen in this field. If they can help me....a hope to die junkie/drunk... then they can help anybody (if you just follow and trust what they tell you)thank you Banyon.... you have given me the tools to be happy no matter what life throws my way

My experience there was good, better than what i imagined. The reviews kinda made it sound like an unwelcoming place but I believe trying to get help than no help is better than nothing, and I was happily surprised by how considerate they were and straight to the point it was, got there 10 minutes early, they gave me a fillout sheet that could be filled out in all languages, then after i did everything, progress was made very fast, got my next appointment and I'm excited to see that I'm making progress and they're making progress with me. I'll keep you updated if it gets worse or better for sure. But now, that's all I think .
