i have been to several other treatment centers and also worked for a few as a tech and supervisor... when i came here i expected the same thing but was shocked to learn of things i have never heard of that actually helped me to stay sober. ACTUAL TOOLS I CAN PULL OUT AND USE WHEN TRIGGERED. i have been promised this several times but never have i ever actually been given actual coping skills. the lady who teaches DBT is a god send... her classes are powerful and she gives clients things to practice that for me have actually work. my therapist has pulled things out of me that i never thought i had the strength to share with another human which lead to an ultimate surrender and peace i have never known. the case managers are rock solid and make me feel seen heard and cared for. Banyon was the last house on the block for me.... I had burned everything down and expected to get clean and sober the same way i had tried 20 previous times but the staff and the group of men and women that were there with me literally saved my life. i HIGHLY recommend this treatment center. im writing this review with hopes that someone who has never been to treatment before will see this and let Banyon palm springs be there first and last... i Pray you dont have to do this as many times as i have had to do or burn everything down like i have. please give these people and honest shot cause they care and are the best i have ever seen in this field. If they can help me....a hope to die junkie/drunk... then they can help anybody (if you just follow and trust what they tell you)thank you Banyon.... you have given me the tools to be happy no matter what life throws my way

I came here and was so surprised by what the program entailed. They taught me so many tools to help with my addiction and other things in my life. I honestly feel like I have a whole different mindset about life. It made me excited for the future. The staff there is AMAZING. All the counselors and trainees were super cool and helpful! I personally had a good experience at Sierra Recovery Center. I got along ok with other patients and the counselors were fantastic. I was advised I should stay longer but I had my young son at my mother's . I was give a dual diagnosis a the end of my stay of addiction and PTSD. I have tried to live my life like a normal person but due to my all my problems I have had a really hard time. I wish now that is of listened to the counselors who seemed to be reaching out to me but I didn't want to be a burden to anyone . These choices would have devestating g impact on my life . I won't go into all the details I no how valuable your time must be.

The Pathway Program saved my daughter's life. She was completely out of control and abusing drugs and alcohol. She was getting in trouble and hanging out with the wrong crowd.The first time I brought her to the shop, all of the counselors and kids welcomed her with open arms. She instantly had clean and sober friends her age that she could relate to and have fun with. The kids hold each other accountable and are a huge support to each other. They are together almost every day and provide the vital friendship needed to succeed in recovery.The Pathway Program is not the typical outpatient program where you attend during the day, but then are alone at night and on the weekends. Two week nights a week the kids are together doing recovery related groups. On the weekends the kids do all kinds of different activities and learn how to have fun being sober in real life. This is part of the aftercare part of the program.There is an excellent parent support group once a week with parents that have been through it all. The parents are so supportive and I was able to call them anytime of the day or night with any questions. The counselors are extremely knowledgeable about addiction and connect with the kids extremely well. They were also available anytime to help with crisis situations and offer support.I feel so blessed to have been able to get my daughter the help she needed through The Pathway Program. It has changed both of our lives for the better and offered us hope for the future. I would highly recommend this program for any teens or young adults that are struggling with addiction.

She opened my mind to the best thing you can do for your life - think of the worst possible scenario and think of the options that you have from there. Never lose hope that you can change your life and recover from abuse beyond your comprehension. You can save your life by yourself if you have to. People only have power over you if you let them have it. Believe actions, not words. Master the masculine in yourself if you are a woman. Nurture the feminine in yourself if you are a man. Jealousy and thinking you re not good enough does not serve your highest good. You can come back from the worst things imaginable. I was going to bring her some flowers to show that I m okay because she helped save my life. In a strange twist of fate my cat was sick and no one listened, but when I went to AEC on S. Virginia, the woman who greeted me was named Shannon. That s how I knew I could trust my gut and not stop fighting even if people tell you no.

Pathways recovery has changed my life in so many positive ways. I spent 60 days as inpatient at the women's recovery program. The staff were all amazing, genuinely caring about the women in every aspect of their jobs from counselors, nursing staff to the chef. I have had previous experiences as an inpatient an I really appreciate Pathways holistic approach which included going to a gym and yoga studio as well as a healthy diet. I was able to do some trauma work that has transformed my life, being able to heal in a safe and supportive environment was a great start to my new way of living. I will be forever grateful to Pathways for showing me the tools I needed to learn to love myself again and stay on my sober path.
