i have been to several other treatment centers and also worked for a few as a tech and supervisor... when i came here i expected the same thing but was shocked to learn of things i have never heard of that actually helped me to stay sober. ACTUAL TOOLS I CAN PULL OUT AND USE WHEN TRIGGERED. i have been promised this several times but never have i ever actually been given actual coping skills. the lady who teaches DBT is a god send... her classes are powerful and she gives clients things to practice that for me have actually work. my therapist has pulled things out of me that i never thought i had the strength to share with another human which lead to an ultimate surrender and peace i have never known. the case managers are rock solid and make me feel seen heard and cared for. Banyon was the last house on the block for me.... I had burned everything down and expected to get clean and sober the same way i had tried 20 previous times but the staff and the group of men and women that were there with me literally saved my life. i HIGHLY recommend this treatment center. im writing this review with hopes that someone who has never been to treatment before will see this and let Banyon palm springs be there first and last... i Pray you dont have to do this as many times as i have had to do or burn everything down like i have. please give these people and honest shot cause they care and are the best i have ever seen in this field. If they can help me....a hope to die junkie/drunk... then they can help anybody (if you just follow and trust what they tell you)thank you Banyon.... you have given me the tools to be happy no matter what life throws my way

I think west care is a very good place to start if u are struggling with addiction they assign u to a counselor as soon as u arrive and they have classes to teach u so that u may understand how to cope with it. Going into the program u have to surrender yourself to change, they have resources to help u get on your feet to be become a productive member of society. the biggest pluses was the food on occasions and being able to bring my daughter as it is open to mothers and children. The biggest minuses where no social passes so u are not allowed to go out of the facility unless u have an appt & also being in pending ( isolation) for the first 5 days from my understanding these changes occured due to covid so they are trying to keep us safe other then that it's probably one of the best facilities to come too

I came to this clinic because of my pain from an accident that broke my back and caused me to need several surgeries in order to partially repair my lower spine. I still need surgery and my pain doctor I was going to retired without much notice (1 week) and I could not find any pain doctors that would keep me on the methadone (I don t like the loopy feeling the other meds give you) they all wanted to put me on Vicodin which I was on for a few years and hated it because it made me sick and dizzy plus it was damaging my liver so I cannot take that anymore so my Dr put me on methadone because it lasts longer and you take less of it. My pain doctor told me to come to the clinic they treat for pain also not just addiction issues, and I am extremely happy I did because every single person at this clinic is amazing. The staff is caring and very helpful with any issues. I admit I did feel awkward at first going to this clinic because I was not a former drug addict and didn t have addiction issues so I felt out of place but they made me feel comfortable and not judged. My counselor Roy has been phenomenal and helping me cope with my daily stress and the stresses that my life has brought to me he s always there for me and always willing to talk to me no matter what and without him, for example today, I don t know if I could ve handled it if I hadn t been able to talk to him today, he was there for me and calmed me down talked me through the issues and made me realize that I just need to relax and stop stressing about things that I cannot change and he is an amazing counselor and I could not ask for anything better. This place is also awesome if you need it for addiction issues, I ve seen how they treat everybody and everybody is treated the same way with respect and dignity and they help everyone . Thank you Medmark team for everything. Y all are the bomb!! Thanks so much! PS: Roy you are the man! Always know what to say to make me snap out of my anxiety s and fears.God bless all of youSamantha

I would give 5 stars, but I was charged extra for some things that were miscommunicated. Other than that, most the dui class instructors are cool, they definitely engage in real and interesting topics as far as getting your life straight. It s a very welcoming environment (with the instructors anyway, some of the front desk staff were kinda rude but you only deal with them every so often), participation is encouraged in groups, and one could definitely gain a lot of knowledge and insight from others expressed experiences. Overall, I took a lot from these classes, and I absolutely do not intend on getting another dui! Also, as for dui instructors, I HIGHLY recommend and would love to show my gratitude to Patrick, Sharon, and Manuel! They are very understanding, nice, & cool instructors who made the time go by faster in the classes. They really care about what you have going on and they could relate to a good amount of situations, so you wont feel too out of your comfort zone. Most the students are decent too! I actually had a great and knowledgeable experience within these classes! Thank you!
