I just left New Dawn yesterday after staying almost double the time I originally planned to because I was still getting so much out of the program. The property is beautiful, there is a pool and hot tub, private rooms and a chef. They offer EMDR/trauma therapy, massage, acupuncture, yoga, fitness/gym time, reiki, brainspotting, addiction education, fun outings and more. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Jerry (the counselor) is amazing and so supportive. He s super fun to be around and keeps you accountable but is also very understanding. Craig (the therapist) is also wonderful and very dedicated and involved in everyone s recovery. Their guidance has helped me get to a place in my recovery that I never could ve imagined when I came in. I highly recommend this location if you re looking for a treatment center.

The Pathway Program saved my daughter's life. She was completely out of control and abusing drugs and alcohol. She was getting in trouble and hanging out with the wrong crowd.The first time I brought her to the shop, all of the counselors and kids welcomed her with open arms. She instantly had clean and sober friends her age that she could relate to and have fun with. The kids hold each other accountable and are a huge support to each other. They are together almost every day and provide the vital friendship needed to succeed in recovery.The Pathway Program is not the typical outpatient program where you attend during the day, but then are alone at night and on the weekends. Two week nights a week the kids are together doing recovery related groups. On the weekends the kids do all kinds of different activities and learn how to have fun being sober in real life. This is part of the aftercare part of the program.There is an excellent parent support group once a week with parents that have been through it all. The parents are so supportive and I was able to call them anytime of the day or night with any questions. The counselors are extremely knowledgeable about addiction and connect with the kids extremely well. They were also available anytime to help with crisis situations and offer support.I feel so blessed to have been able to get my daughter the help she needed through The Pathway Program. It has changed both of our lives for the better and offered us hope for the future. I would highly recommend this program for any teens or young adults that are struggling with addiction.

A year ago, I got a DUI and attempted to take my life. Pathways not only saved me, but taught me how to save myself. The Woman s Dual Diagnosis Residential Treatment Facility, was my home for 60 days, and I would have stayed longer if I could have. I desperately needed help for my mind, body, and soul, and Pathways was a perfect fit. The counselors, medical staff, private chef, yoga instructor, cross fit coach, and home office staff are top notch and go above and beyond to help heal. I felt as if I was their only patient, but part of a family at the same time. That s what detailed attention feels like. They taught me to love myself again, and I will use those tools for the rest of my life. Miss Shelli will forever be my red headed angel Today, I am happy, healthy and sober. Before I attended Fair Oaks Recovery Center I wasn t sure what to expect, as I have never been an impatient at a rehab center before. Right off the bat I attended all of the classes, speaker sessions, alumni night (while impatient), and AA meetings (I wasn t used to going to AA meetings). I never considered myself an addict until the prescription medications I was given started to alter my behavior for the worst, affecting my family.What I like about this place is that it structures so many different aspects of psychological and physical therapy into the day. I was doing trauma classes with Tina (who is marvelous by the way), and Andy (who is also compassionate towards every guest). Theresa is an awesome, wonderful human being, who has an electric wealth of knowledge and wisdom. All of these three gave me the gift of looking past my shame and guilt, and to a future where I could be of service to others.I went in after detoxing 7 days at home because I didn t want to relapse, so I removed myself from the world for a little bit. This gives the person the space to rethink their choices, and to develop new habits that lead to more improved behaviors. I suggest those of you thinking about only doing a seven day detox to rethink this choice, as working the program goes beyond just detoxification. You need to put in the work, and being vulnerable to change is the only way you ll ever get better.Think of relapse prevention like a spider web. The more the web is laced with individual strands (tools: AA, NA, Sponsor, PHP/IOP, church, community service, therapist, psychiatrist, medications, self-confidence, self-love, etc.) the better you ll be able to handle whatever life throws at you, because life will throw the kitchen sink at you.If you want help, it s good to be assertive. People won t be able to read your mind, but they re good at reading your body language. I felt shame and guild before I entered this place, I left with wisdom, friends.l, a foundation, and what I needed to do in order to not get loaded.Your choice to select this establishment is going to be life-changing in so many ways, for the better. People that love themselves don t get loaded, they do EVERYTHING to protect themselves. They just don t hire anyone, they re very selective, and it shows through the effort they put in to keep your eyes on the prize your sobriety.

Every visit to Dr. Skarpness is a delight with a uniformly kind and professional team and comfortable facilities. I look forward to seeing my medical professional(s) at Kaiser. He is a superb physician.

I have had the best experience with a Dr. Sarah Nasir. She realized that I was struggling and worked with me on a solution and actually found a treatment plan that is both therapeutic and effective and helping me maintain sobriety. She even on her own time set up recovery coaching and I have also utilized this resource to my benefit and I continue to grow and am for once excited about my future again. I would also like to say there is a phenomenal counselor I have named Ashley and she has been an emotional rock for me and has helped me tremendously as well. So yes if you find the right professionals amazing things can take place with your effort.
