i have been to several other treatment centers and also worked for a few as a tech and supervisor... when i came here i expected the same thing but was shocked to learn of things i have never heard of that actually helped me to stay sober. ACTUAL TOOLS I CAN PULL OUT AND USE WHEN TRIGGERED. i have been promised this several times but never have i ever actually been given actual coping skills. the lady who teaches DBT is a god send... her classes are powerful and she gives clients things to practice that for me have actually work. my therapist has pulled things out of me that i never thought i had the strength to share with another human which lead to an ultimate surrender and peace i have never known. the case managers are rock solid and make me feel seen heard and cared for. Banyon was the last house on the block for me.... I had burned everything down and expected to get clean and sober the same way i had tried 20 previous times but the staff and the group of men and women that were there with me literally saved my life. i HIGHLY recommend this treatment center. im writing this review with hopes that someone who has never been to treatment before will see this and let Banyon palm springs be there first and last... i Pray you dont have to do this as many times as i have had to do or burn everything down like i have. please give these people and honest shot cause they care and are the best i have ever seen in this field. If they can help me....a hope to die junkie/drunk... then they can help anybody (if you just follow and trust what they tell you)thank you Banyon.... you have given me the tools to be happy no matter what life throws my way

I had a lot of illness and family issues throughout the year. I had my dui class assigned last winter and aside from the rescheduling fines I've had personal experience with Thomas. The counselor and he has been amazing, very informative and helpful in my process of growing out of life experiences that were awful. 100% recommend this facility. The Pathway Program saved my daughter's life. She was completely out of control and abusing drugs and alcohol. She was getting in trouble and hanging out with the wrong crowd.The first time I brought her to the shop, all of the counselors and kids welcomed her with open arms. She instantly had clean and sober friends her age that she could relate to and have fun with. The kids hold each other accountable and are a huge support to each other. They are together almost every day and provide the vital friendship needed to succeed in recovery.The Pathway Program is not the typical outpatient program where you attend during the day, but then are alone at night and on the weekends. Two week nights a week the kids are together doing recovery related groups. On the weekends the kids do all kinds of different activities and learn how to have fun being sober in real life. This is part of the aftercare part of the program.There is an excellent parent support group once a week with parents that have been through it all. The parents are so supportive and I was able to call them anytime of the day or night with any questions. The counselors are extremely knowledgeable about addiction and connect with the kids extremely well. They were also available anytime to help with crisis situations and offer support.I feel so blessed to have been able to get my daughter the help she needed through The Pathway Program. It has changed both of our lives for the better and offered us hope for the future. I would highly recommend this program for any teens or young adults that are struggling with addiction.

Pathways recovery has changed my life in so many positive ways. I spent 60 days as inpatient at the women's recovery program. The staff were all amazing, genuinely caring about the women in every aspect of their jobs from counselors, nursing staff to the chef. I have had previous experiences as an inpatient an I really appreciate Pathways holistic approach which included going to a gym and yoga studio as well as a healthy diet. I was able to do some trauma work that has transformed my life, being able to heal in a safe and supportive environment was a great start to my new way of living. I will be forever grateful to Pathways for showing me the tools I needed to learn to love myself again and stay on my sober path. I have had the joy of working with Erica & Pina who are the supervisors of the residents at this Teen Challenge center. As well as working with the women enrolled in the program. What a blessing they have been! They have learned to care and maintain gardens as I have worked with them and training them in the needed knowledge and skills. But, more importantly I have watched them blossom and become heathy joyful women as they go through the healing process of addiction. As the mother of a former addicted child, who went through 3 other forms of rehabilitation, and only became healed and healthy through a Christ centered program I am blessed to be a part of helping these women heal. This is also what Teen Challenge offers here. It is a blessing to the residents as well as those whom they are able to help in providing their gardening needs.

Staff usually tries to help as much as possible when possible but there a few things they can improve.On Saturdays they can have two people dispensing, and one on call in case someone with an important job as dispensing calls in sick at last minute. I did an intake on 8/16/23 & was unsure what to expect. The facility is very clean and homelike. I looked for every reason to leave and regain my freedom although I was not ready. This clinic and staff saved my life. So much more of a personal experience than with or any other clinic. They truly care. I had to hitch hike from Chico everyday to get to ATS for treatment, and with there help we were able have the clinic use there own vehicle to go all the way to Oroville to pick up 6 patients at a time everyday there and back for treatment.
