i have been to several other treatment centers and also worked for a few as a tech and supervisor... when i came here i expected the same thing but was shocked to learn of things i have never heard of that actually helped me to stay sober. ACTUAL TOOLS I CAN PULL OUT AND USE WHEN TRIGGERED. i have been promised this several times but never have i ever actually been given actual coping skills. the lady who teaches DBT is a god send... her classes are powerful and she gives clients things to practice that for me have actually work. my therapist has pulled things out of me that i never thought i had the strength to share with another human which lead to an ultimate surrender and peace i have never known. the case managers are rock solid and make me feel seen heard and cared for. Banyon was the last house on the block for me.... I had burned everything down and expected to get clean and sober the same way i had tried 20 previous times but the staff and the group of men and women that were there with me literally saved my life. i HIGHLY recommend this treatment center. im writing this review with hopes that someone who has never been to treatment before will see this and let Banyon palm springs be there first and last... i Pray you dont have to do this as many times as i have had to do or burn everything down like i have. please give these people and honest shot cause they care and are the best i have ever seen in this field. If they can help me....a hope to die junkie/drunk... then they can help anybody (if you just follow and trust what they tell you)thank you Banyon.... you have given me the tools to be happy no matter what life throws my way

This place saved my life. If you truly want sobriety and knowledge to stay sober this is the place to be. The staff is phenomenal. The cook is stellar and the therapist Brian is so awesome, he helped me break through some walls that I by myself could not do. He was patient and understanding. I went to Quest on a personal Quest.....to recovery. The name says it all. I was willing, I was optimistic, and ready to accept and attack my problems that were hindering me for a very long time.I truly can't say enough about the staff and counseling team, and of course our case and program manager. They offered their services, and i gladly accepted. I formed stong bonds with my house mates and couldn't ask for a better group.I believe you get back what you put in. If you're sincere in your intentions, people will embrace you and take you in with open arms.The place is absolutely wonderful. It s a good program. You need to be motivated. If you follow the rules and complete inpatient they can get you into one of their sober livings which is way better than the ones you pay for. Great place and it did work. Still sober from alcohol. I had to move to this place halfway through my treatment due to the Malibu fire that destroyed the awesome cliff side treatment center.I did have some problems but over all it worked. Do not have your family come to the family visits my family did not have a good experience and we still have problems because of what was said to them. Kara knows her stuff but keep her away from you family. Joe is great!

My husband and I welcomed our first baby last month at Henry Mayo and I truly could not be more thankful for our experience and the incredible staff there. From the moment my family and I walked in, we were greeted with joy and guidance from the security desk & check in area. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was really good! My family also enjoyed making frequent trips to the cafeteria which has great food options too. I m so thankful for all of the amazing nurses who cared for me and my daughter during our stay after my c-section. Each staff member was extremely kind, attentive, & helpful. I will forever be thankful for them. My husband and I were also treated to a celebration dinner and had so many delicious options to choose from. I can t say enough great things about Henry Mayo and their wonderful staff. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such good care of us.
