From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and cared for. Having a private room was a huge plus it gave me the personal space I needed to focus on my recovery while still managing my work and school. The fact that I could use my phone and laptop was incredibly helpful, allowing me to stay connected and on top of everything while receiving the care I needed.The staff were incredible not only professional but genuinely caring. They treated me like a friend, making the whole experience feel much more comfortable. The facility itself is very comfy. Plus, there were plenty of fun outings that kept me active and distracted in the best way possible.If you're looking for a place where you can focus on recovery while still maintaining your responsibilities, I can t recommend this place enough!

I have not one single complaint about the program at SCBH. The techs, facilitators, groups, therapists, and my personal case manager Nicolle are all absolutely wonderful people- They sincerely care about the well being of all patients coming here. The food is top notch as well as the cooks over the stove. Give the respect you want in return, don t buck the system and follow the simple rules implemented all for good and structured reasons and everything is extremely pleasant. 10 out of 10 recommend for treatment and care!

This Rehab facility was absolutely life-changing for me. There are so many great things I could list about this place. The staff were knowledgeable, compassionate, friendly and MOST of all: EXTREMELY accommodating and understanding with requests. The house was located in a quiet and peaceful residential neighborhood with absolute stunning views overlooking the ocean. The fun activities and experiences/outings were extremely helpful coping skills for my mental health and cravings.At Laguna View Detox it is evident that the staff care about you from the time you walk in the front door.I would like to point out that while this experience was amazing, there are a couple of things I would like to point out as areas for growth and improvement.1. Food - the food was sub-par in my humble opinion. While they do cater to dietary restrictions and allergies, there were many occasions that felt like the same food was repetitive, less-healthy, and lacked the right amount to serve everyone to their satisfaction.It would have been nice to maybe have the option for meal prep or an activity cooking course to teach people the skill and value in cooking together as well as considering a part-time chef position to develop those skills in staff and clients alike.2. Staff/clients - While 90% of the staff/clients were absolutely amazing, there were a couple that maybe could ve brought more value to the table or fulfilled their duties so others wouldn t have to suffer the consequences. It s not fair nor realistic to expect perfection from everyone but it is possible to differentiate those that are there to just collect a paycheck or take advantage of the care the system provides.These problems will undoubtedly always arise in every work environment and company alike thus should be expected time to time. The higher management can hopefully take more proactive measures to prevent the house becoming a toxic environment as well as addressing the problems at the core of the individuals.Once again I would highly recommend this place to anyone seriously committed to attaining a peaceful and healthy life of sobriety. I am forever indebted and grateful to LVD for my experience. I am also proud of myself for making the best of this opportunity and utilizing all the tools, skills and knowledge taught from the wise and relatable staff.I have made life-long friends, relationships, coping skills and knowledge that I will carry throughput my lifetime toward sobriety. What you need to know about Ranch Creek Recovery:They accept health care insurance. Katie was great in helping me find the right healthcare provider and coordinating enrollmentPRIOR TO ARRIVAL:coordinate which house you will be staying at (Bass or Dorrien), what day you'll be arriving, how you'll get to the program, pack a week worth of clothes including a bathing suit, books, booklight (if you plan to read, because all lightbulbs are the dimmest possible), and alarm clock (unless you like counselors walking into your space, waking you up randomly).UPON ARRIVAL:You will need to be dropped off (there is no personal parking or vehicle storage). You'll go through a search (appropriately, light pocket check and bags emptied) all electronics will be confiscated (headphones, phones, chargers, etc) and stored in a locked closet. Full inventory documented for all items. You will have up-to 3 days to DETOX as needed where you can sleep and rest privately. I personally got bored very fast and decided to join the group early rather than just sleep, but the option is available as needed.ONCE SETTLED IN:There is a 7 day blackout period where you are not allowed phone or computer use and can not have visitors or communicate with family/friends (emergency exceptions). There are typically 4 (one hour) group sessions daily, during which either worksheets are used from various therapy resources, or rehabilitation-related YouTube videos are shown. Counselors rotate based on internal scheduling. You'll have 1-2 private therapy sessions scheduled each week for one on one with Leena or Christine both are great to work with and talk to one on one. Meals are scheduled 3 times a day, residents are responsible for cooking their own meals and can "graze" in making snacks/meals as needed.DEPARTING:A close-out assessment will be completed prior to your scheduled last day with an emergency safety plan for sign off. A pick-up time will be scheduled, all itemized inventory reviewed with sign-off. an IOP Intensive Outpatient Program will be offered through RCR Ranch Creek Recovery and/or a plan for after care reviewed.NOTES:Phone use allowed 1 hour a day at night after dinner, following a 7 day blackout period. Group sessions can be "boring" lots of downtime, lots of staff turnover.There are two houses BASS & DORRIEN.Bass is the main property and where groups are held.Sleeps 6 residents. There are 3 private bedrooms each with a queen bed (one has it's own bathroom, the other 2 share a bathroom), and 1 oversized bedroom with 3 queen beds, another full bathroom by the living room. big screen smart tv, L-shaped old sofa [over-due to be replaced], matching captains chair with footrest [also ready to be replaced], eloquent dining room (dedicated as an art space), enormous dream kitchen with separate pantry room, food shopping is done once a week with a list (residents responsible to cook their own meals), Pool Table, Ping Pong,, Pool (ICE COLD), Jacuzzi (turned on Friday night only, no lights), garage with some gym equipment (you can use during free time), and a large sunny well maintained backyard is accessible.Dorrien is the "overflow" smaller secondary house about 10 minutes away. Also sleeps 6 total. 1 large bedroom with 3 beds, 1 bedroom with 2 beds, 1 master with a queen bed which shares a jack-and-jill bathroom. TV, living room, hot tub.DAILY ITENTERARY:This is where it gets a bit "grey space" ....There is a plan on paper (somewhere) and then there is reality.PAPER PLAN*I could be slightly off, as no schedule was providedwake up 7am-7:30ambreakfast 8am-9am9am-12pm & 1pm-5pm grouplunch 12pm-1pm dailydinner 5pm-6pm dailyfree time 6pm-10pmTuesday = Sound Therapy (AMAZING)Wednesday = Yoga (BEGINNER)Thursday = Fitness Training (NOPE)Friday = Educational Rehabilitation Movie & Horse TherapySaturday = "outing activity" (NOPE)Sunday = Family visitation 12pm-4pm (last 2 weeks only)its helpful if youre looking to get clean. The property and people are nice overall.

My experience at SoCal detox was amazing. The staff and the management there did more for me and cared more for me than anyone ever has. They went above and beyond what you would expect from a treatment center. If you are looking for help with addiction. this is the place. Thank you soCal detox.

I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful experience! They made getting sober a fun , educational, and comfortable experience. Every staff member was unique and so caring . I have health issues and they accommodated those issues beyond what I could have expected. The house was beautiful and felt like home. I feel they care for our needs individually with a plan that fit me. My health needs were met to the highest standards . All this allowed me to focus on healing and getting sober .

The people at this program took me in at my worst as one of their own, and helped me change my life. The culture they inspire in their clients truly creates a desire for change and healthy decisions. I owe Rich and Andrew everything. Love you guys.
