Hi I went through the Singing Trees Recovery program in 2001. The experience was so spiritual. I am an addict and they helped me get clean, stay clean, and so much more! I got to meet myself for the first time in a Long time not to mention some good people whom I call my Friends and my 2nd Family I would recommend this facility to anyone that needs help!The staff are excellent and have all been in my shoes at one time their life so they counsel with real experience on your level not just out of a text book. Because they have a story too. I learned a whole new way of life. The Pathway Program saved my daughter's life. She was completely out of control and abusing drugs and alcohol. She was getting in trouble and hanging out with the wrong crowd.The first time I brought her to the shop, all of the counselors and kids welcomed her with open arms. She instantly had clean and sober friends her age that she could relate to and have fun with. The kids hold each other accountable and are a huge support to each other. They are together almost every day and provide the vital friendship needed to succeed in recovery.The Pathway Program is not the typical outpatient program where you attend during the day, but then are alone at night and on the weekends. Two week nights a week the kids are together doing recovery related groups. On the weekends the kids do all kinds of different activities and learn how to have fun being sober in real life. This is part of the aftercare part of the program.There is an excellent parent support group once a week with parents that have been through it all. The parents are so supportive and I was able to call them anytime of the day or night with any questions. The counselors are extremely knowledgeable about addiction and connect with the kids extremely well. They were also available anytime to help with crisis situations and offer support.I feel so blessed to have been able to get my daughter the help she needed through The Pathway Program. It has changed both of our lives for the better and offered us hope for the future. I would highly recommend this program for any teens or young adults that are struggling with addiction.

A year ago, I got a DUI and attempted to take my life. Pathways not only saved me, but taught me how to save myself. The Woman s Dual Diagnosis Residential Treatment Facility, was my home for 60 days, and I would have stayed longer if I could have. I desperately needed help for my mind, body, and soul, and Pathways was a perfect fit. The counselors, medical staff, private chef, yoga instructor, cross fit coach, and home office staff are top notch and go above and beyond to help heal. I felt as if I was their only patient, but part of a family at the same time. That s what detailed attention feels like. They taught me to love myself again, and I will use those tools for the rest of my life. Miss Shelli will forever be my red headed angel Today, I am happy, healthy and sober. Diamond House is a great place to detox and the people (staff) are awesome and I wouldn't have it any other way.

My experience at Reflections was profoundly healing and restorative.From the moment I checked in, I was surrounded by folks who obviously cared about my recovery, including the Clinical Director himself, the amazing therapeutic staff, the program assistants, the attentive nurses, and even the chefs who prepared our delicious, healthy meals. Every one of these folks invested personally in my journey back to wellness and, by the end of treatment, I counted them all as dear friends. I am now six months out of treatment and my new life is a miracle that I never thought possible.Let me offer a few well-deserved accolades . . .First, the educational program itself is outstanding. I received in-depth information on a wide range of subjects, but most importantly about the disease processes (including the neurophysiology) of addiction, which helped me understand exactly (i) why I had been so profoundly affected by my substance of choice and (ii) how to use this knowledge to build a comprehensive, concrete, evidence-based life plan for long-term recovery. It was profound.Second, the clinical program is highly effective. In addition to bi-weekly meetings with the Clinical Director, each of the residents is assigned (i) a personal therapist to assist in identifying and addressing the deeper, emotional aspects of our addictions and (ii) an amazing relapse prevention expert who helps the residents design practical, personalized plans (also evidence-based) to avoid future debilitating relapses. I still look at my own plan every week. All of this work fits hand in glove with the educational curriculum I describe above.Third, all of this takes place in beautiful surroundings that facilitate close bonds among the handful of residents (usually 5 or 6) in treatment. We had many powerful group sessions, fabulous shared meals, outside activities (including recovery-based meetings), art and music therapy, yoga, and plenty of time to hang in the common area playing cards, watching movies, or just talking about our lives. We shared these valuable informal times with a number of trained program assistants who were available to share their own personal recovery experiences and offer personal encouragement.Fourth, the amenities are outstanding. Outdoor covered fitness center, swimming pool and hot tub, bobcats that prowl the hillside at night, comfortable private rooms with desks and plenty of closet space, and great food. Unlike many other treatment facilities, at Reflections you get to keep your computer and phone with you during your stay. I felt a little spoiled by it all.Finally, Reflections has a great after-care program to help graduating residents shift back into the real world. I spent the ten weeks following treatment in Reflections' remarkable IOP program, which meets three days per week. This allowed me to take continued advantage of Reflections' recovery support while transitioning back to work. The clinical director of IOP is a fabulous guy who offers great, practical support during that transition. He also runs a weekly Zoom-based alumni meeting that's available to all graduates.What more can I say? I entered Reflections in pretty rough shape, and I emerged from the program confident in my own recovery, physically and mentally sharp, and super optimistic about the future. It is a lot of work but, if you are willing to work hard and take your recovery seriously, I cannot imagine a better place than Reflections to launch your new life.

Going from paradise Adventist to this is night and day. They listen to what you say and look into everything, it's crazy

Before I attended Fair Oaks Recovery Center I wasn t sure what to expect, as I have never been an impatient at a rehab center before. Right off the bat I attended all of the classes, speaker sessions, alumni night (while impatient), and AA meetings (I wasn t used to going to AA meetings). I never considered myself an addict until the prescription medications I was given started to alter my behavior for the worst, affecting my family.What I like about this place is that it structures so many different aspects of psychological and physical therapy into the day. I was doing trauma classes with Tina (who is marvelous by the way), and Andy (who is also compassionate towards every guest). Theresa is an awesome, wonderful human being, who has an electric wealth of knowledge and wisdom. All of these three gave me the gift of looking past my shame and guilt, and to a future where I could be of service to others.I went in after detoxing 7 days at home because I didn t want to relapse, so I removed myself from the world for a little bit. This gives the person the space to rethink their choices, and to develop new habits that lead to more improved behaviors. I suggest those of you thinking about only doing a seven day detox to rethink this choice, as working the program goes beyond just detoxification. You need to put in the work, and being vulnerable to change is the only way you ll ever get better.Think of relapse prevention like a spider web. The more the web is laced with individual strands (tools: AA, NA, Sponsor, PHP/IOP, church, community service, therapist, psychiatrist, medications, self-confidence, self-love, etc.) the better you ll be able to handle whatever life throws at you, because life will throw the kitchen sink at you.If you want help, it s good to be assertive. People won t be able to read your mind, but they re good at reading your body language. I felt shame and guild before I entered this place, I left with wisdom, friends.l, a foundation, and what I needed to do in order to not get loaded.Your choice to select this establishment is going to be life-changing in so many ways, for the better. People that love themselves don t get loaded, they do EVERYTHING to protect themselves. They just don t hire anyone, they re very selective, and it shows through the effort they put in to keep your eyes on the prize your sobriety.
