I came here so this Google user is a dumbass. They give you all the help and resources. They tell you to drive safe if you're driving, they encourage you to go straight home from work, school, or wherever you are avoid hanging out with the wrong crowds. This program is all about helping you get your life back on track even the most ignorant stubborn ones.

My Father in law was recently hospitalized here. His care was superb start to finish. In the emergency room Dr Thomas was caring and efficient. He was admitted to the ICU where Dr Phillip and the icu staff literally saved his life. Incredible care. The love shown to us by the entire ICU nursing staff was truly heartwarming. He is now home and recovering well thanks to them. Highly recommended.

I came in alone with my toddler once who had a Lego stuck up his nose which was all bloody which gave me a heart attack at the time, and the line was long at that time. The care was mediocre at best. They did get him seen within 2 hours or so but I thought that was still too long compared to my second time. My mom was with me at the time to help so it was easier to bear.The other time I came in through ambulance after having non stop diarrhea with COVID like flu symptoms (eg sore throat, fever, chills, headache, vomiting, congestion, coughing) and I was concerned it was something more serious. They were helpful and responsive, had people who weren t medical to check on any needs (like an extra blanket, or getting a nurse s attention which helped so much. The nurse who did my IV was fumbling a bit and a little bit cold, but the other two nurses who helped me really made up for that.One thing I will say is, there were some really long wait times which I didn t mind because I needed the two bags of IV drips after being so dehydrated but I did see some negligence with the pulling the cord for nurse thing being reset which wasn t reset so if I was a patient who was even worse off, I couldn t have gotten the nurse s attention again.

I kinda wanna even out the one star reviews because in my experience it wasn t that bad. I would say most of the therapists are kind and helpful and I met some really amazing people there and I do believe it helped me in my recovery. I feel bad for those who had negative experiences here because I know it s a struggle:(

If you are like me, you have been tirelessly researching online or calling various sober living facilities - feeling heartbroken, lost, desperate, and confused - all while facing a decision which would directly impact the livelihood of a loved one. No pressure, right? My family member had just completed rehab outside of Los Angeles and needed a sober living facility with good and honest people to help them adjust back to real life. All I knew at this point in my search is what I wanted for them. I was looking for a sober living facility where they would have focus on the program, be given the direction and guidance of counselors with care, be introduced to meetings around LA, all leading up to the goal of steering them back to a healthy and positive life. The real (and scary) answer is these places are hard to come by. I unfortunately saw that first-hand. Now to get to why I NEEDED to write this review. Nexus. 5 letters that make up a word I want to shout from the rooftops with such profound gratitude. Yes, my family member chose to do the work, take it seriously, make it a priority in their life, but it is also about who you surround yourself with. Nexus gave my family member a community bringing people into our lives which have changed it for the better. Nexus gave my family member counseling which has opened them up to realizing their true potential without the need of drugs or alcohol they are just grateful to be walking in their shoes sober. And one of the most important attributes of Nexus you may ask? Those that run the program. Halim, Johnnie, Rob, and Dano. I will never forget the first night I talked to Halim. And I say talked as if it was only one time. We spoke at least 10 times and he was a savior. He picked my family member up from somewhere where they were drowning and brought them to the Playa house. I was in a different state and was powerless but Halim was there. How could I have been more fortunate? I am forever indebted to the people that work at the Playa house (house manager, supervisors, techs, case managers, drivers) and the program Nexus has brought to our lives. Nothing is more important to me then family, and Nexus gave me my family back.

Little House saved my life! I highly recommend this treatment center. The facility is super nice and clean. The staff is awesome, especially Ms. Jenn! You won t find a better place if you want to turn your life around and become a new and better you!

After calling many places I m sure glad that I picked this place to do my 3month long class. The main reason being that I was able to attend via zoom each week made it very convenient. Once class begun, Rosa the instructor was amazing in balancing the teaching and class interaction! You will not be disappointed if you are looking for this type of program. Highly recommend to others!
