So my counselor is Tricia Story if you want a counselor that will call you on your stuff hold you to your goals and that really cares about your well being Tricia is definitely it she has given me the tools and knowledge to stay clean for a long time I have had two counselors since I have been here and Tricia has been my counselor the better half of almost 9 years clean and she has been a major part of. My husband was treated with so much care, along with the schedule of meds and therapy that I don t foresee a relapse . But if it were to happen, we are aware of what tools are at our disposal to deal with it. So very grateful.

I did an intake on 8/16/23 & was unsure what to expect. The facility is very clean and homelike. I looked for every reason to leave and regain my freedom although I was not ready. My advice is to stay an follow through with the program it's a phenomenal program. Not to mention they feed the residents really well.

First I would like to thank the VA for two great hires. First Dr Kungys he was the most pleasant and knowledgeable in explaining everything during my examination. Kept it simple so that anyone could understand. His assistant Janelle Spears was so attentive, first assessing how bad my injury was and relayed her findings to the Dr. JENELLE under the Dr's order got me a better compression sleeve and she helped me put it on. She immediately started to set up my MRI appointment with the up most efficiency. I was receiving a call for an appointment and it was made. She had a calming effect in the way she interacted with me. And I immediately felt everything was going to be alright. Again kudos to the Department of Veterans Affairs for two great hires. After I got out of residential, I went straight to IOP . The support I received was amazing! Counselors took their time to get to know you and your situation . With the tools I learned in the recommendations of the counselors , I was ready to start a new life for myself. The whole New dawn experience literally saved my life! A chance to have this new life I thought was out of reach. But I have been sober for almost two years now .

Great bunch of people working there. From Mikey at the front desk on weekends, to Janean and Shay in medical.Each of them compassionate, conscientious and kind, choosing to help others attain their individual goals in sobriety. I've heard horror stories of other clinics treatment of clients, that doesn't exist here.

The whole staff are very lovelng,respectful most understanding people I have ever met the minute I walked in that door they made sure I was heard, taken care of and respected. You can see in they're eyes that they are truley there to help you get healthier and kick whatever habit you have and give you positive conversation and the tools to stay clean

What else can I say about River City Recovery!!! If you TRULY want to be FREED from the disease of addiction, this place will do everything within their power to assist you in getting there. The rest is up to you and how TRULY BAD you as an individual want the opportunity to live your BEST life!!! All I had to do was show up and put to use ALL the great tools they give you and after being clean and sober for going on five months now, I can honestly say the program is PRICELESS!!! So if you to struggle with the disease of addiction, my only question for you is what are you waiting for??? God Bless.

I have been at the treatment center for year and a half had an amazing Counselor having a hard time dealing with her no longer working there . It doesn t stop the main concern TREATMENT. Everyday is a task but it s a wonderful place to be in treatment they have wonderful staff hard working.

MOST of these negative reviews = DUMB AFThese are people that don t take responsibility for their health. No I don t work there but I see it all too often with other veterans. There are a small few that ignore their health and then blame the VA when it gets bad. It s sad but on a more positive note; McClellan Clinic makes it easy to stay on top of your health. It provides essentially a one stop shop for healthcare. The staff are friendly and helpful. It s basically a hospital but simplified with a more relaxed vibe. They even have a chiropractor and a shuttle service. Veterans are NOT the easiest population to care for, so I have to give credit where it s due. This place exceeds the standard and has my appreciation.
