It is a wonderful place for someone suffering from the disease of alcoholism or drug abuse to go to for recovery and guidance.Detoxing is patient and comforting, allowing you to clear your mind and body with the help and comfort of staff. From my experience, the afternoon and evening staff are incredible for assisting you in clearing out your system and getting you prepared for what's required in staying sober.Groups are imperative for assisting you in understanding what compelled you to use in the first place. I say with confidence that I learned more about myself and changed for the better in those 30-50 days than I ever have during the rest of my life. It only required being open to it.Despite what others have claimed, communication between me, staff, and my family was not only not an issue but was encouraged during my time there.Of course, if one puts their effort in finding the flaws in an institution, they can come up with anything to justify thinking negatively about it and seeking perfection in it, but perfection isn't achievable anywhere. South Shores provided me with a safe place to get sober and amazing help from the staff. My experience at the north Hollywood facility was amazing! Of course when you are coming to detox , you are not in the best mood , but I returned twice after leaving and relapsing and when arrived I was greeted with smiles and support. I am beyond grateful for Solutions 4 Recovery. From the time I made the decision to call them to get help, they have gone above and beyond to make my recovery possible, exciting, and successful. They have wonderful group facilitators that keep a constant theme of recovery, while creating a safe environment for clients to open up in group therapy. We get taken to many excellent 12-step meetings; the recovery in this area is over the top amazing. The houses clients live in are beautiful, beyond what words can say, and very comfortable, homey, and lively. Overall, this program has changed my life forever for the better. I came to treatment with very little hope for a future for myself. Capo has been patient, kind, and loving to me, at a time when I was none of those things to myself. I have referred many clients to Miles for sober living. Milestone is basic sober living houses. A great way to stay sober living in a group home setting. Plenty of freedom to work and choose your meetings while enjoy some structure and accountability. Personally I lived in sober living for over 2 years after primary treatment. I used the time to complete college, buy a good car, get furniture for my own place.I believe an addict is ready for their own apartment only when they can pay 1st and last + the month payments on their own. So they have gainful employment, and a car to get to their job.Families do the recovering addict a disservice to enable them to move beyond what they are ready to do for themselves.

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and cared for. Having a private room was a huge plus it gave me the personal space I needed to focus on my recovery while still managing my work and school. If you ever met him his presence carried this purity you can t fake. He just had it and could tell was never going back to his old life. I really do miss everyone and if things were different back home I would ve moved out there and stayed with them however I could. This isn t something someone paid me to say for all you skeptics. This is a great program if you re trying to stay sober. The staff are excellent especially my therapist and case manager. The facilities are really nice and not overcrowded so you get more of a personal connection with staff and other clients.
