My experience at the north Hollywood facility was amazing! Of course when you are coming to detox , you are not in the best mood , but I returned twice after leaving and relapsing and when arrived I was greeted with smiles and support. The staff tended to my needs and provided me with wisdom to help be successful in recovery. The ppl who you meet here will change your life and some will even feel like a part of your family . The staff really does care about you! All you have to do is take the first step and ask for help. This is actually the best Clinic I've ever been to Thomas has been the best counselor I've had I was at ages before as well but due to getting ran over by a car I was put back on opiate medications and well any addict knows what happens after that when I returned to ages I went through a plethora of counselors but Thomas was solid and stuck around when I came to him I had 14 take homes and lost them because I fell off. Thank God I had Thomas as a counselor he held me accountable for my actions was patient and gentle and see me through my relapse now I have six take homes and I'm doing way better I really believe that if Thomas wasn't my counselor during my relapse I wouldn't be clean right now because of the way he handled the situation allow me to trust him take his advice and now I've been clean for almost 4 months now thank you Thomas and thank you Aegis for employing Thomas.

The Medical Care provided by the VA Health Care Department is superb. It is the best benefit an honorably discharged or disabled veteran gets for their time in the military. So much better then medicare or medicaid. They will provide the best medical care it's possible to get any where and if they can't, they will find out who can and send you there. I have mixed review about this center. They really helped my friend thank you for being there for him and caring. You offered a safe place for him to become sober and also assisted with a difficult surgery he had to undergo that would have definitely caused a relapse if he was outside of your program. So I am grateful. But this place needs help so badly. They need funding and a really really strong administration something you know as soon as you walk into the delapitated building it does not have leadership. It is beyond filthy. I don t know how anyone stays healthy the yard looks like a prison yard and worse. The communication is a confused mess and the process is a confused mess. Please hire a capable administrator and a grant writer to help make this place better!!
