ACTUAL TOOLS I CAN PULL OUT AND USE WHEN TRIGGERED. i have been promised this several times but never have i ever actually been given actual coping skills. the lady who teaches DBT is a god send... her classes are powerful and she gives clients things to practice that for me have actually work. my therapist has pulled things out of me that i never thought i had the strength to share with another human which lead to an ultimate surrender and peace i have never known. the case managers are rock solid and make me feel seen heard and cared for. Banyon was the last house on the block for me.... I had burned everything down and expected to get clean and sober the same way i had tried 20 previous times but the staff and the group of men and women that were there with me literally saved my life. i HIGHLY recommend this treatment center. im writing this review with hopes that someone who has never been to treatment before will see this and let Banyon palm springs be there first and last... i Pray you dont have to do this as many times as i have had to do or burn everything down like i have. please give these people and honest shot cause they care and are the best i have ever seen in this field. If they can help me....a hope to die junkie/drunk... then they can help anybody (if you just follow and trust what they tell you)thank you Banyon.... you have given me the tools to be happy no matter what life throws my way

Everlast is different in that treatment takes place with a smaller census compared to other centers in Riverside County. This gives the counselors and therapists more time to treat each clients individual needs. Also, the food is AMAZING. Everlast has a private chef that cooks weekday meals and attends to those such as myself with allergies. Highly recommended!

Sadly I ended up here looking for help in anger management and parenting. And the counselors were amazing, great people. I learned a lot, mental health is an issue nowadays and I thank God for taking me to this place. Also, the ladies from the front desk were always super nice and helpful.

In October it will be 7 years clean and sober. I lived there for over a year starting in 2017. Puente House introduced me to a new way of living, and laid out a clear path to be in the middle of recovery and community. I will forever be thankful for the way things are done there, I really don t know if I would have otherwise had the discipline and discernment to make such a thorough beginning. Many of those women are still my close friends, and the alumni pillars of our community I lean on.
