This is a great program if you re trying to stay sober. The staff are excellent especially my therapist and case manager. The facilities are really nice and not overcrowded so you get more of a personal connection with staff and other clients. My experience at the north Hollywood facility was amazing! Of course when you are coming to detox , you are not in the best mood , but I returned twice after leaving and relapsing and when arrived I was greeted with smiles and support. Windward way at Newport Beach was the best place I could have gone! The housing was beautiful and the group facilitators were life changing. The care team was there for me at every turn and a special thanks to my therapist Julia, she really does care. The techs that handle your day to day are kind and empathetic. I gave five stars for the company but beware of other clients, lots of drama. Also beware of the clinical director Tara, the administration can be intimidating if you try to leave. I arrived at South Coast Counseling May 5th, 2023 with a closed mind and a closed heart. As of May 5th, 2024 I am now 1 year completely sober and although I put in the work on myself, I would have not been able to achieve what I have in this last year if it weren t for going through this particular program and being motivated, loved, and supported every step of the way. It has taken me 13 years to put together 1 full year of sobriety. I have been to countless residential treatment centers and what sets South Coast Counseling apart from all the rest is that the staff genuinely cared about my wellbeing and believed in me when I didn t believe in myself. I was barreling down a path towards annihilation until they helped me set down a path of rediscovering who I truly am. I can t express my gratitude enough for the program that this treatment facility has to offer for an individual who is willing and ready to be free from addiction. I was alone & afraid. Hopeless & lost.Frustrated & altered.The staff opened the doors to freedom the first day I arrived but I was blind and could not see this because I was to busy looking for all the bad things. Because that is what I was use to, Unaware of the help that was being given to me by this Heaven sent Facility. The staging/setup that this family orientated treatment facilityis awesome. I had to meet with the owner to determine what i wanted to do and my options. After talking to the owner...Dylan and hearing his road to recovery. This is the best treatment center I went in 2015 and I did stay sober for 6 months I simply wasn t ready but they gave me all of the support and great experiences.
