I went to visit Liberty House and tour the entire facility. I was welcomed and treated with love and grace and after touring I was very impressed with my experience. The staff was professional and organized as well as the grounds were well kept both inside and out. The clinical team presented as exceptional professionals and showed me their unique styles of programming tailored to the patients needs. There s a certain culture and feel this facility offers that I have never experienced in other centers. i have been to several other treatment centers and also worked for a few as a tech and supervisor... when i came here i expected the same thing but was shocked to learn of things i have never heard of that actually helped me to stay sober. ACTUAL TOOLS I CAN PULL OUT AND USE WHEN TRIGGERED. i have been promised this several times but never have i ever actually been given actual coping skills. the lady who teaches DBT is a god send... her classes are powerful and she gives clients things to practice that for me have actually work. my therapist has pulled things out of me that i never thought i had the strength to share with another human which lead to an ultimate surrender and peace i have never known. the case managers are rock solid and make me feel seen heard and cared for. Banyon was the last house on the block for me.... I had burned everything down and expected to get clean and sober the same way i had tried 20 previous times but the staff and the group of men and women that were there with me literally saved my life. i HIGHLY recommend this treatment center. im writing this review with hopes that someone who has never been to treatment before will see this and let Banyon palm springs be there first and last... i Pray you dont have to do this as many times as i have had to do or burn everything down like i have. please give these people and honest shot cause they care and are the best i have ever seen in this field. If they can help me....a hope to die junkie/drunk... then they can help anybody (if you just follow and trust what they tell you)thank you Banyon.... you have given me the tools to be happy no matter what life throws my way

Care was fantastic. 10. I came in unbeknownst to me with a pretty serious infection. Entire team was fantastic helping and caring for me as I healed. Hats off!Facility was good. There were some things that could use improvements such as the heater for the pool and the amphitheater but all in all the things which matter the most such as residential housing was a 10. PhP housing gets an 8. IOP same housing as PhP.People. Best I've seen at a treatment facility. 10. You really, if I may; develop a bond with your fellow addicts and alcoholics. Almost a brotherhood with which the majority of seemingly really do want to heal. This creates a fantastic opportunity to truly embrace the process.Food. I truly wish I could write this differently I have to give a 5. Keep in mind however that this is circumstantial to my time there. Being as such had I been there 4 weeks earlier it would have been and started off much better but due to what I assume were budget cuts majority of the kitchen staff quit. This left the food lacking in creativity and a lot of repeats such as hot dogs with fries and grilled cheese with tomato soup. I would check to be sure this has been resolved. Cleanliness also not the best. Not horrible but there were a slight rodent problem but keep in mind your in the middle of the woods so to be fair it was they're home first I suppose. Bathrooms a cafeteria I was I could give more credit but let's not put lipstick on a pig. They need a serious facelift.To sum up, it's a fantastic and wonderful environment to take recovery serious. The positives greatly outweigh the negatives. Greatly recommend with an overall of 8.6 of 10.

If you re looking for a place to get sober this is it. they have the best therapist his name is Corey love him. the nursing staff was absolutely incredible Matt, Theresa, Celine and so many others. they really care about you. I really wanted to get sober and the staff knew this. My first time trying to get sober and i for the first time in my life i felt cared for genuinely. they just want to help you. very under appreciated. Goodness Celine was my intake nurse and i was so scared she made me feel so comfortable. Theresa made me feel loved. Matt talked to me about my interests and showed me the stars. Alex did amazing meditations at night, if we wanted. Rosie is an amazing cook and an even better woman. Brandi (or Y only god knows how to spell her name lol sorry :( ) was such a great and engaging person to teach me about addiction. This was the best experience of my life and i cannot thank the staff enough. they still play such a huge part in my sobriety and if i had a bad experience i wouldn t be sober. they saved my life.

I commend them for practicing what they preach (most clinics will talk a good game but will DO the bare minimum) It's like having found a hidden treasure. From the reception (Deanna is AMAZING) to the dentist and his assistants, my loved one is 84 years old and she's always talking about how kind she is treated. This is almost unheard of for other clinics! And yet despite having to serve dozens of patients a day, staff does an incredible job of not only providing the services, but also making sure patients feel respected. They have composed a phenomenal team of great people and get everything done as quickly and efficiently as possible.
