I thought this was overall a tremendous place. It was just what I needed to take a break from the stress of the daily grind and come to terms with some of my problems that have been holding me back. Paris, Brendan, LC, Sia, Gio, Wendy, Ferris were the best techs to have around and Sheri, Greg, Yousef and Leslie were amazing practitioners. At first I had some issues with the program, but after discussing with the management team, we got everything sorted out and it made my stay one that was well worth it. I also had the pleasure of meeting Priya, the owner of the program, who is a wonderful person. I could tell her heart is in the right place and is very passionate about making it the best program possible.. Very professional staff, amazing property and exceptional place!

My child ended up getting involuntarily discharged and I'm still giving Evolve a 5 star rating because they were fantastic throughout the 30 day stay.Admissions helped us through the entire process over a weekend when my child was kicked out elsewhere.Facility was great.Staff from Management to therapists were all kind and very caring. Where Paradigm (Malibu) felt much more corporate, Evolve treated my daughter with so much compassioin, even through the discharge process. The therapist were even crying at discharge, and more telling, my child really wanted to go back after the episode passed.Medical staff tried much harder than elsewhere to find the secret sauce to help my kiddo.Good news, we did eventually find a med (at home) that helped a TON and we're mostly under control now. I'm sure Evolve made a big difference in this process.If you are a parent with a troubled teen, hang in there! Feels impossible some days, but I highly recommend the Evolve team.Thank you Clara, Leah, Anna,, Allexis & Dellyna!

Dr. Dias is the best doctor I could recommend. I went to rehab 3/2020 and I started to see him as an outpatient. I ve been sober for a year and he has given me the best treatment for my recovery. If you want to be free from any addiction you have, this is where you need to go. The nurses there are attentive and also care about my treatment plan as well. I cannot say enough.

I had good experience in this place. They treat me nice and took care of me for long time till I got my sh*t together. I was going tru some mental breakdowns and it was hard for me to be alone with myself.People that work in comfort are professionals in their job. I had the opportunity to make new friends and go through the hardest stage of my life with their help! Thank you

If you are like me, you have been tirelessly researching online or calling various sober living facilities - feeling heartbroken, lost, desperate, and confused - all while facing a decision which would directly impact the livelihood of a loved one. No pressure, right? My family member had just completed rehab outside of Los Angeles and needed a sober living facility with good and honest people to help them adjust back to real life. All I knew at this point in my search is what I wanted for them. I was looking for a sober living facility where they would have focus on the program, be given the direction and guidance of counselors with care, be introduced to meetings around LA, all leading up to the goal of steering them back to a healthy and positive life. The real (and scary) answer is these places are hard to come by. I unfortunately saw that first-hand. Now to get to why I NEEDED to write this review. Nexus. 5 letters that make up a word I want to shout from the rooftops with such profound gratitude. Yes, my family member chose to do the work, take it seriously, make it a priority in their life, but it is also about who you surround yourself with. Nexus gave my family member a community bringing people into our lives which have changed it for the better. Nexus gave my family member counseling which has opened them up to realizing their true potential without the need of drugs or alcohol they are just grateful to be walking in their shoes sober. And one of the most important attributes of Nexus you may ask? Those that run the program. Halim, Johnnie, Rob, and Dano. I will never forget the first night I talked to Halim. And I say talked as if it was only one time. We spoke at least 10 times and he was a savior. He picked my family member up from somewhere where they were drowning and brought them to the Playa house. I was in a different state and was powerless but Halim was there. How could I have been more fortunate? I am forever indebted to the people that work at the Playa house (house manager, supervisors, techs, case managers, drivers) and the program Nexus has brought to our lives. Nothing is more important to me then family, and Nexus gave me my family back.
