Elevations residential mental health treatment is exceptional. Look no further if you want to receive the best residential mental health care available in the most beautiful setting. You receive daily groups and individual therapy, which is rare in residential mental health treatment in my experience. I recently received residential at Elevations in Calabasas, CA. (Nov. 2024) I felt safe and cared for. Dr. Chaudhri cares deeply about the programs and getting things right. The dedicated technicians make sure that you are always safe and your needs are met. The therapists are dedicated and exceptional in their treatment of complex mental health diagnoses (BiPolar, depression, PTSD, OCD, anxiety.) The psychiatrist is one of the best I've ever had. The services I received and I encourage people to get are: EMDR, Nuerofeedback, massage, life coaching, nutrition consultation, meditation, acupuncture, and yoga. Make them part of your treatment if you can. The journey is hard work but being in such a beautiful place with highly qualified and compassionate people makes it easier. Always advocate for yourself and you will get what you need. I know no matter what I may need in the future Elevations Behavioral Health will be there. My child ended up getting involuntarily discharged and I'm still giving Evolve a 5 star rating because they were fantastic throughout the 30 day stay.Admissions helped us through the entire process over a weekend when my child was kicked out elsewhere.Facility was great.Staff from Management to therapists were all kind and very caring. Where Paradigm (Malibu) felt much more corporate, Evolve treated my daughter with so much compassioin, even through the discharge process. The therapist were even crying at discharge, and more telling, my child really wanted to go back after the episode passed.Medical staff tried much harder than elsewhere to find the secret sauce to help my kiddo.Good news, we did eventually find a med (at home) that helped a TON and we're mostly under control now. I'm sure Evolve made a big difference in this process.If you are a parent with a troubled teen, hang in there! Feels impossible some days, but I highly recommend the Evolve team.Thank you Clara, Leah, Anna,, Allexis & Dellyna!

Dr. Dias is the best doctor I could recommend. I went to rehab 3/2020 and I started to see him as an outpatient. I ve been sober for a year and he has given me the best treatment for my recovery. If you want to be free from any addiction you have, this is where you need to go. The nurses there are attentive and also care about my treatment plan as well. I cannot say enough.

If you are like me, you have been tirelessly researching online or calling various sober living facilities - feeling heartbroken, lost, desperate, and confused - all while facing a decision which would directly impact the livelihood of a loved one. No pressure, right? My family member had just completed rehab outside of Los Angeles and needed a sober living facility with good and honest people to help them adjust back to real life. All I knew at this point in my search is what I wanted for them. I was looking for a sober living facility where they would have focus on the program, be given the direction and guidance of counselors with care, be introduced to meetings around LA, all leading up to the goal of steering them back to a healthy and positive life. The real (and scary) answer is these places are hard to come by. I unfortunately saw that first-hand. Now to get to why I NEEDED to write this review. Nexus. 5 letters that make up a word I want to shout from the rooftops with such profound gratitude. Yes, my family member chose to do the work, take it seriously, make it a priority in their life, but it is also about who you surround yourself with. Nexus gave my family member a community bringing people into our lives which have changed it for the better. Nexus gave my family member counseling which has opened them up to realizing their true potential without the need of drugs or alcohol they are just grateful to be walking in their shoes sober. And one of the most important attributes of Nexus you may ask? Those that run the program. Halim, Johnnie, Rob, and Dano. I will never forget the first night I talked to Halim. And I say talked as if it was only one time. We spoke at least 10 times and he was a savior. He picked my family member up from somewhere where they were drowning and brought them to the Playa house. I was in a different state and was powerless but Halim was there. How could I have been more fortunate? I am forever indebted to the people that work at the Playa house (house manager, supervisors, techs, case managers, drivers) and the program Nexus has brought to our lives. Nothing is more important to me then family, and Nexus gave me my family back.
