Bethel Colony Transformation Mens Program LA 70126

About Bethel Colony South Men’s Transformation Ministry

Bethel Colony South Men's Transformation Ministry is a residential addiction treatment center based in New Orleans, Louisiana. They treat men aged 18 and older. Their faith based inpatient program lasts for at least six months.

They’ve created a safe, supervised and structured environment that makes it easy for you to focus on your healing journey. Treatment involves detox, counseling, work therapy and discipleship. They take a holistic approach to healing and look at your mind, body and spirit when structuring your treatment plan. You can also get involved with community service projects during treatment which gives you a chance to give back to the city.

The program is based on Christian principles and aims to free you from the captivity of addiction so you can be a present father, partner and man. They believe in the values of love, integrity and faithfulness and help men embody these principles in every aspect of their lives.

During your stay, you’ll spend a lot of time sharing your experience with the other residents and listening to their stories. You’ll become part of a supportive and uplifting community where each person takes accountability for their actions and treats others with respect and kindness.

Something I like about their program is that it’s easy for the men to stay involved with the center once they’ve completed their treatment program. Men can attend the graduate program for continued recovery support, education and job opportunities. Bethel Colony South also allows men to volunteer to work as counselors, instructors or other staff at the center.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Teen Program
Teen programs are designed to address the unique pressures teens face, pressures that can drive them to experiment with dangerous, addictive substances. They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.

Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.

Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Seniors Program
Nearly one million adults age 65 and older live with a substance use disorder. Treatment providers who specialize in senior care understand the social, psychological, and physical effects of aging and how they relate to recovery. They can help clients address particular challenges and risks they may face as they get older such as overdosing and medication interactions and dependencies.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

this place is not as it seems. we sent my brother and his family there for help and they were NOT treated how we expected it. they took his girlfriends money and prevented my brother from seeing his kids. he called us multiple times asking we send us money because he couldn t afford his hygiene products and food. this place is a CULT.

My brother, his gf and their two children went here for help. It was a nightmare. They worked them for dollars, wouldn t allow my brother to speak or have any contact with his own children. After asking the Pastor took him in front of the entire CULT and humiliated him by saying he couldn t see his children. This place is a scam. They took his gfs money and food stamps the entire time they were there. I wouldn t send anyone here. They are rude when you call to inquire about your family members. I hope their god has mercy on them for all the hateful things they do to people. I on the other hand wish them what they deserve. I hope y all well runs dry.

My ex checked herself into the facility with our 5 year old and even after I shared my exhibits of child endangerment executed by his mother with the director; she continued to prevent me from rescuing my son

I have been shopping here for years. The people who work there are sweet and make my day when I go there. It s just the prices are getting a bit ridiculous. Some things are beginning to be priced close to retail. That saddens me as I don not wish to pay those prices for used items. In turn I am no longer supporting the ones who benefit from this thrift store. Not sure who is over the store side of it these past 6 months but there is most definitely a difference and not for the better. I hope things change soon.

This is a place doing God's work. Satan will lie to keep people away from God. Lives are being transformed.
