So many good things to say not that this is an easy road but the other option is eternal death roughly 25 years ago I was in a bad place struggling with issues and addictions I was able through teen challenge to leave the addictions and receive a foundation to start a new life with Jesus which will lead to an eternal life with Jesus think about that I mean think about that and the other option eternal death which would you choose think about it after stepping on to my new foundation they help me set course for spiritual walk with our creator not walking in the flesh I am one of the few who have had an out of body experience yes I did bleed out and my heart stopped because there wasn't enough blood left to pump and I was in the corner up towards the ceiling looking down at the doctor trying to bring me back to life before I was taken to another place not of this world and was presented the pole of hell I had to make a decision at that point I'd love to tell you more but these things are very true choose Jesus choose life

Jesse Brown VA medical center is in Chicago. People have to pay to park. And will give out a small ticket. IN Which the parking ticket has to be violated. And only 2 visitors can patients.

We often don t realize how hard it is for people working in emergency situations.Today I have been here 3 times in the last 4 years and everyone always tried to help me with all their hearts . Thank you and God bless you.

This is an awesome facility. When you arrive, they help you get a job separate living outside of here amongst many other things. Numerous men come home and try to roam the neighborhood looking for drugs you can’t blame the facility for your family drug habit and possible overdose. The counselors are there to help us in anyway needed, but they cannot watch over grown men 24 seven we have the luxury to get time out to look for a job. It’s not their fault Several clients spend that time to do drugs. We are gifted, necessities, and toiletries to start our journey. Sometimes we even get food. We get the proper treatment needed to start our journey after prison.

I worked in Dietary ( I'm Retired) really nice Department & Housekeeping also and all of the rest of the Departments that come together everyday with Patients Care as the Main goal.Happy Holidays.

I give Thresholds !I have been with Thresholds for nearly 3 yrs. as a Member Participant Being a team member case manger Is a hard job. it takes good hearts and minds to work as hard as they do. It's often thankless work. long hrs. and little pay. Nothing is perfect in this world. having reasonable acceptations helps. Having mental illness. depression & anxiety. and being a high functioning autistic. as I am. is not easy to cope alone. with no family or friends. Thresholds provides good case managers/therapists/advocacy. They have many locations and programs. addressing all manor of needs and personalities. I cherish them deeply. They have been there for me in my darkest hrs and never given up on me. when others have. They are my people. they are my lifeline. Identifying as an artist. I receive tremendous support and resources. to use art therapeutically. One must feel safe to play and do art. Imagine other states. and even countries. that don't provide full spectrum mental health services. such as Thresholds. I am grateful. deeply so. I love them. for keeping me safe. and seeing me as I am. beyond my broken self. They never forsaken us during the holidays Thank You Always Thresholds! For Everything. Sincerely -K.M.

The place itself is an environment that will help you get your life on track. The Counselors are the best! The life coach is superb and the connect app is something everyone should have that has been through recovery.

everybody, including the patients, is your best friend and makes small talk and smiles. dr. barsky was my doctor and he's the coolest guy ever. you forget he's your doctor and think he's your best pal
